Riverstone mixes two very different housing eras. Around the station and Piccadilly Street are older town blocks laid out after the railway arrived in 1864, while large farm releases since 2014 have added new estates. The 2021 Census counted 94.5 per cent separate houses and 49.4 per cent with four or more bedrooms. For the older cottages we do rewiring and board replacement; for newer builds we add LED lighting, alfresco circuits and dedicated lines for home offices and ducted air.

A large industrial area still operates on Riverstone’s northern side, and poultry farming and market gardening continue nearby. We service workshops, sheds and small factories with three-phase circuits, high-bay lighting, commercial electrical maintenance and fault finding on pumps and cool rooms, as well as farm sheds on the rural edges.

We run same-day service to Riverstone homes and businesses. Local urgent calls include water getting into outdoor circuits after heavy rain, an old cottage switchboard with a failed fuse carrier, a pump or cool room tripping on a market garden, and a new-estate RCD refusing to reset.
Our Riverstone clients split fairly evenly between the old town and the newer estates. Longtime owners near Elizabeth Street and Garfield Road call about ageing cable, cramped meter boxes and adding air conditioning to cottages never designed for it. Newer residents, 44 per cent of them paying off a mortgage, want chargers, outdoor lighting and extra circuits in four-bedroom homes. As a Riverstone electrician we also look after sheds on rural-residential blocks, industrial units in the north and the heritage precinct around the station.
Flood history matters here. Record water in 1867, a major flood in 1961 and homes submerged along Marsden Road in 2021 mean we check low-lying properties carefully. With Richmond Road, Windsor Road and the M7 close by, we reach Riverstone quickly from anywhere in Western Sydney, including for an emergency electrical fault.

Streets like Piccadilly Street and Gladstone Parade were laid out after the railway opened in 1864. We rewire older cottages, replace fuse panels and add earthing while respecting heritage character near the station.
Large farm releases since 2014 brought new four-bedroom homes to Riverstone. We add outdoor lighting, fans, home office circuits and chargers, working neatly around new finishes and existing solar equipment.
Riverstone saw major floods in 1867 and 1961, and homes along Marsden Road went under in 2021. We test water-affected circuits, replace damaged fittings and advise on raising outlets and boards.
A sizeable industrial zone operates on Riverstone's northern side. We handle three-phase supply, machine circuits, high-bay lighting and scheduled maintenance for workshops, warehouses and small manufacturers.

Our licensed electricians work in both Riverstone eras: older cottages near the 1864 railway station and near-new estate homes with modern boards and existing solar gear.

We inspect before quoting a single fixed figure. A Piccadilly Street cottage with its original board and a new four-bedroom estate house need very different amounts of work.

When heavy rain knocks out power to a Marsden Road home or a cool room fails on a nearby farm, we reshuffle less urgent bookings and aim for a same-day visit.

Our 250+ customers include Riverstone families, landlords, market gardeners and industrial tenants, many of whom found us through neighbours in the old town and new estates.

Every circuit we install in a Riverstone home, shed or workshop comes with a lifetime labour guarantee, whether it is a single outlet or a full rewire.

Tell us your street, whether it is an older town block or a new estate, and whether gates or dogs affect access. We then offer a time that suits your day.

After inspecting the board, cable condition and any shed supply, we explain what the property needs and send one fixed price in writing before we begin.

Old-town streets are wide and estate driveways are easy, so we arrive in the promised window and phone ahead if Richmond Road traffic delays us.

Removed cable and old fittings leave with us, paths are swept, and you receive your compliance certificate and a note of anything else worth watching.

Spyro founded the business in 2017, and our team now numbers five-plus licensed electricians. Riverstone is one of the more varied places we work, with a railway town dating from the 1860s surrounded by new estates, farms and an industrial area. That variety keeps us sharp: one day it is an old cottage board, the next a charger in a new garage or a pump circuit on a market garden. The electrician who quotes is the one who finishes.

Riverstone has a long flood record, from water reaching 19.7 metres in 1867 to homes along Marsden Road being submerged in 2021. After any inundation, wiring, boards and appliances need testing before power is safely restored.

Every job we do in Riverstone is covered by a CCEW, the Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work required in NSW. For older cottages near the station, that means disturbed wiring gets fixed properly or flagged on paper for the owner. AS/NZS 3000 requires RCD protection on final subcircuits whenever a board is altered or replaced, and Type AC safety switches have not been allowed in new work since 1 May 2023, which is why Type A units go into Riverstone boards we touch.
Riverstone jobs are priced after a site visit, with a fixed figure confirmed in writing. The range is wide: adding lighting to a new estate home with open roof access is simple, whereas the same job in an older Piccadilly Street cottage may need a fuse panel replaced and earthing corrected first. Inspecting first means the number we give is the one you pay.
Old fuses in a station-side cottage, a charger for your new garage, or a shed that needs proper power? Ring 02 8999 3691 and a licensed electrician will inspect your Riverstone property, explain the work and give you a fixed written quote, with lifetime labour cover.
Riverstone homeowners, landlords, farmers and industrial tenants most often ask us these. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Usually. We operate from 7am to 5:30pm on weekdays and 7am to 2pm on Saturdays, closed Sundays. Riverstone is close to Richmond Road and the M7, so an early call to 02 8999 3691 often lets us reach you the same day. A hot smell from the board, a spark at an outlet or a whole house gone dark jumps the queue.
We look first, then commit to a fixed price in writing. Riverstone has everything from older town cottages to brand-new estate homes and industrial units, so the same task can vary a lot. Once we have seen the board, access and cable routes, the figure we give you stays the same unless you ask for more.
In most cases, yes. Cottages near the station and around Piccadilly Street and Gladstone Parade often have original or patched wiring, old fuse panels and little or no RCD protection. We test the circuits, tell you which are sound, and quote a switchboard upgrade or partial rewire where the results warrant it.
Switch off the main if you can do so safely, stay clear of wet fittings and fallen wires, and call 000 for fire or fallen lines. Report a street-wide outage to Endeavour Energy on 131 003. Before power is restored, we test the insulation and earthing, replace damaged fittings and give you written results for your insurer.
Yes. Households here average 1.9 vehicles, and newer estate homes are built with garages. Our first step is measuring what the board has spare; then a standalone protected line goes out to a wallbox positioned beside where you actually park. If you already have solar, we can set the charger up to use more of your own generation.
We do. Poultry farming and market gardening still operate around Riverstone. We run power to sheds, fit weatherproof outlets and lighting, repair pump and cool room circuits, and install sub-boards with RCD protection. We do not work on network poles or overhead lines to the street, but everything on your side of the meter is covered.
Yes. Riverstone’s northern industrial area holds workshops, warehouses and small manufacturers. We install three-phase circuits, machine connections, high-bay LED lighting and emergency exit lights, and offer scheduled maintenance and fault finding so production keeps running. Shutdowns can be booked early in the morning or on a Saturday, and every machine circuit is labelled at the board for your staff.
Tenancy law wants one functioning alarm per floor, any fault your tenant flags fixed inside two business days, and units swapped out before their tenth birthday from the date stamped on the back. Mains-powered models need a licensed electrician to fit them. About 35 per cent of Riverstone homes are rented, so we regularly supply compliant smoke alarms and dated records for agents.
Yes. Spyro started the business in 2017, and we now have five-plus licensed and insured electricians with more than 7,000 projects behind us. Every job in Riverstone comes with the compliance certificate NSW requires and a lifetime guarantee on our labour.
