Grabbing groceries at Oran Park Podium, borrowing books from the library on Civic Square or kicking a ball at Julia Reserve? Our Oran Park specials cover homes near Doohan Reserve, Gardner Reserve and along Oran Park Drive too. Mention the deal when you book.

Oran Park is one of Sydney’s newest suburbs, built on the old raceway and dairy land as a planned town for about 10,000 homes. In 2021, 86.9 per cent of dwellings were separate houses and 11.7 per cent townhouses or terraces, while 81.8 per cent had four or more bedrooms. New homes usually arrive with builder-basic electrics, so owners call us to add double power points, ceiling fans, outdoor lights and garage circuits once they move in.

Oran Park Town Centre is built around the Podium shopping centre, opened in 2014 and enlarged in 2024, plus Camden Council’s administration centre and the library on Central Avenue. We fit out new shops, cafes and professional suites with lighting, power, tenancy fit-out wiring and data.

Our same-day service covers all of Oran Park, from the Podium to the newest stages along Oran Park Drive. Urgent calls here include a new home tripping after a faulty appliance, outdoor outlets filling with water, or a townhouse losing half its circuits.
Oran Park is young, with a median age of 30 and 87.3 per cent family households, and most homes are still being paid off, at 53.6 per cent with a mortgage. Families want extra outlets in kids’ rooms, fans for hot western Sydney summers and better lighting in alfresco areas, while landlords with 35.5 per cent of homes on a lease need alarms and inspections sorted. As a Oran Park electrician we handle all of it.
The suburb replaced the Oran Park Raceway, which ran from 1962 to 2010, and many streets carry motor racing names. Because homes are new, faults are usually installation slips or damaged outdoor fittings rather than old cable. For an urgent electrical problem we can often come the same day, and our vans pass through daily while working across Macarthur.

About 81.8 per cent of Oran Park homes have four or more bedrooms. We add outlets, USB points, fans and extra lighting that builders left out, and run new circuits for home offices and media rooms.
Around 11.7 per cent of dwellings are townhouses or terraces on smaller lots. We work within tight roof spaces and shared walls, and add power and lighting without disturbing neighbours.
With 35.5 per cent of homes leased, agents and investors need alarms and circuits checked between tenants. We replace faulty alarms, test RCDs and provide dated reports for the landlord.
The Podium has expanded and new businesses keep opening around Civic Square. We wire shop fit-outs, cafes and offices, including display lighting, kitchen circuits and emergency lighting.

Our licensed electricians know Oran Park’s new builds, from project homes near Julia Reserve to townhouses by the Podium, and how their boards, cable paths and roof spaces are set out.

We inspect before quoting, then fix the figure in writing. A two-storey house near Doohan Reserve and a townhouse close to Civic Square each get a price that reflects their layout.

If power drops in your Oran Park home or an outdoor outlet trips after rain, we move our schedule so an electrician can reach you promptly.

Our 250+ customers include many Oran Park families and landlords, often referred by neighbours in the same estate stage or parents at the local schools.

Every job we do in Oran Park carries a lifetime guarantee on our labour, from an extra power point in a bedroom to a full EV charger install.

Pick a time that suits school drop-offs or your roster. Let us know if street parking is tight on your block so we can plan where the van will go.

We look at the board, roof space and cable paths, then send a written fixed price. Nothing is added later unless you decide to add more work.

Oran Park streets are busy in peak hour around the Podium and schools, so we time our run and phone ahead if anything delays us.

We clean up ceiling dust, take away packaging and offcuts, test the new work with you and leave the compliance certificate for your records.

Since Spyro founded the business in 2017, our team has grown to five-plus licensed electricians, and Oran Park has become a regular part of our Macarthur week. Most jobs here involve improving new homes rather than fixing old ones: more power points, fans, lighting, EV chargers and data. The same electrician who quotes your job carries it out and signs it off.

Oran Park households average two cars each, and nearly every home here is a new build with a garage close to the switchboard. That makes it one of the easiest places in Macarthur to add a home EV charger.

NSW requires a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work for every job, and we lodge one after each Oran Park visit. Even in new homes, we test the circuits we touch and point out any installation problems in writing. Altering a board brings AS/NZS 3000 RCD protection to all final subcircuits, and Type AC devices are not permitted in new work since 1 May 2023.
Every Oran Park quote is a fixed written price given after we look at the job. Adding fans to a single-storey home with open roof space is fairly simple, while running new cable to the ground floor of a two-storey house or a townhouse with a low roof takes more time. Seeing it first keeps the price right.
Need more power points, fans for summer, an EV charger or a rental safety check? Call 02 8999 3691. A licensed electrician will visit your Oran Park home, give you a fixed written price and back the labour for life.
Oran Park families, investors and business owners ask us these questions most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Often, yes. We work from 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm on Saturday, and Oran Park is on our daily Macarthur route. Ring 02 8999 3691 early for the best chance of a same-day visit. Burning smells, sparks or a main switch that will not stay on get priority.
We give a firm price only after we see the job. In Oran Park, access makes the biggest difference: single-storey homes with open roof space are quick, while two-storey houses and townhouses with tight ceilings take longer. After our visit, you receive a written fixed price that changes only if you ask for extra work.
Yes, it is one of our most common Oran Park jobs. Builders often fit the minimum number of outlets, so kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms end up with power boards everywhere. We add double or USB power points where you need them, and run a new circuit if the existing ones are already heavily loaded.
Adding circuits or fittings by a licensed electrician, with a compliance certificate, is normal after handover. We only work on the parts we install or alter and document everything. If you have an open defect with your builder, we suggest they fix it first, and we can then add the extras you want.
Each storey needs a working alarm, a reported fault must be repaired within two business days, and alarms over ten years old from manufacture must be replaced. Hard-wired alarms must be installed by a licensed electrician. With over a third of Oran Park homes rented, we often do smoke alarm checks between tenancies and provide dated records.
Yes. Summers in south-west Sydney get hot, and many new homes rely only on ducted or split air conditioning. We fit ceiling fans in bedrooms and living areas, add bracing where needed and wire wall controls. Fans can run alongside air conditioning to cut its load and running cost.
We do. About 11.7 per cent of Oran Park dwellings are townhouses or terraces on smaller lots. Roof spaces are tighter and walls are often shared, so we plan cable routes carefully and keep noisy work to reasonable hours. If the property is under a community scheme, we check what approvals you need first.
Yes. The Podium expanded in 2024, and new shops, cafes and professional suites keep opening around Civic Square and Central Avenue. We handle lighting, general power, kitchen circuits, exit and emergency lighting, and data cabling, and can work outside trading hours so you stay open.
Yes. Many Oran Park homes have alfresco areas left with a single light and one outlet. We add weatherproof power points, LED lighting, outdoor fans and garden lights, all protected by RCDs and placed to avoid water from rain or pool splashes.
