New keys near Leppington station, an older place along Ingleburn Road, or a young family by Leppington Oval? Homes between Byron Road, Heath Road and Camden Valley Way qualify for our running specials. Bring up the Leppington offer on the phone and it is added to your price.

Leppington has changed from farm grants to growth-area housing in two decades. It joined the South West Growth Centre in 2004, and by the 2021 Census 95.1 per cent of dwellings were separate houses, with 73.2 per cent offering four or more bedrooms. Only 0.4 per cent were units. Most homes are recent project builds with builder-grade lighting and few outlets, so we add extra power points, zoned LED downlights, fans and split system circuits, plus board upgrades in homes that predate the boom.

Commercial Leppington is still taking shape around the station, with the NSW Government describing a future mix of homes, shops, business hubs and community facilities. We wire shop tenancies, childcare and medical suites, and display homes, and we provide commercial electrical maintenance for small operators setting up in the new centres.

We offer same-day service across Leppington, from the station precinct out to Heath Road. Typical urgent calls: a brand-new home where one circuit keeps dropping, a split system tripping the board on a 40-degree afternoon, storm water in outdoor lights, or a garage outlet that has scorched.
Most of our Leppington customers are young families. The median age was 32 at the 2021 Census and half of all homes are held with a mortgage, so people want sensible upgrades done once: more outlets in the study, a fan in each bedroom, a proper circuit for the alfresco kitchen. As your Leppington electrician we also look after owners of older houses near Leppington Hall and the Dickson Road church, whose boards predate the growth centre.
Builders and landlords keep us busy too. A new house often needs small defect fixes after handover, and with 24.8 per cent of homes rented, agents ask for alarm checks between tenants. If a circuit burns out or the whole house goes dark, our emergency electrician can usually be there the same day from our regular runs across South-West Sydney.

Most Leppington houses are recent project builds. Handover wiring meets the minimum but rarely suits real family life, so we add outlets, USB points, bedroom fans and outdoor lighting where owners actually need them.
Some 73 per cent of Leppington dwellings offer four bedrooms or more, and many run ducted air or several split systems. We give each unit its own protected circuit so a heatwave does not knock out the kitchen.
Nearly a quarter of Leppington dwellings are rented. We test and replace hard-wired smoke alarms, check safety switch coverage and leave dated paperwork for the agent before the next tenant moves in.
Some Leppington homes were built long before the 2004 growth centre listing. Their boards often lack RCDs, so we replace them with modern switchboards that can handle today's appliances safely.

Leppington project homes are familiar ground for our licensed team, including where builders run cable through trusses and how much spare room a standard estate switchboard really has.

You get a written figure before work starts. A double-storey five-bedroom build near the station and an older house near Leppington Hall are priced on their own merits.

Leppington afternoons get hot and summer storms hit open ground hard. When a split system trips the board or water reaches outdoor lights, we get moving quickly.

The 250+ customers behind our reviews include many growth-area families in Leppington, Austral and Edmondson Park who recommended us to neighbours on the same new street.

Every circuit, light and charger we install in a Leppington home carries lifetime labour cover, which suits owners planning to stay in a new house for decades.

Book by phone or online and tell us if your estate has a gate code or construction traffic nearby. We give you an arrival window that fits school pick-up.

First comes a look at the board, the roof cavity and the circuit loads; we explain options in plain English, then put a fixed amount in writing before anything begins.

Leppington streets are still under construction in places, so we check the route before leaving and call you if Camden Valley Way roadworks cost us time.

New carpets and fresh paint get dust sheets, patches are made neat, and the compliance certificate comes with photos of new cabling hidden in the roof.

Local pockets we cover in Leppington
Nearby suburbs we also serve

From one founder in 2017 to a crew of five-plus licensed electricians, Spyro’s outfit now spends a good part of each week in growth suburbs such as Leppington. The work here is mostly about making new homes fit the families moving in: better lighting, more outlets, chargers and cooling circuits. We also look after the older houses that were here before the station opened in 2015. It is steady, practical work, and many clients call us back when the next room needs finishing.

Hi, Spyro here. Just moved into Leppington and found the builder left you three power points per room? My number is 02 8999 3691, and we can map out every extra outlet in one visit.

Leppington households average two vehicles, and 95.1 per cent of homes are separate houses, almost all with a garage or driveway. With Camden Valley Way and the M7 carrying much of the commute, home charging is one of the most common upgrades we quote here.

Every electrical job in NSW needs a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, and every Leppington customer receives one from us. A new home is not automatically perfect, so when we alter a builder’s board we bring it into line with AS/NZS 3000 RCD requirements on each final subcircuit. Type AC safety switches cannot go into new work from 1 May 2023, so we specify Type A units as the minimum.
We give fixed prices, but only after seeing the house. Adding lights to a single-storey home near the station with an open roof space is quick, while the same job in a double-storey build with a low-pitch roof and ducted air in the way takes much longer. We inspect, explain the work, and write down a single figure you can plan around.
Whether your new Leppington home needs more outlets, a charger in the garage or an extra circuit for cooling, dial 02 8999 3691 any weekday or Saturday morning. We walk through the house, commit to a written figure, and stand behind that labour permanently.
New-home buyers, growing households and investors in Leppington tend to raise these points. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Most weekdays, yes. Weekday bookings run 7am through 5:30pm, with Saturday slots from 7am up to 2pm. Leppington is linked to the rest of our area by Camden Valley Way and the M7, so a morning call to 02 8999 3691 usually gets a visit that day. Sparking outlets, hot switchboards and total blackouts take priority.
Each quote is written for the actual house. Leppington homes look alike from the street but differ inside: roof pitch, ducting, board size and whether the builder left conduits all change the labour. We inspect, explain what is needed and give one fixed figure in writing before starting.
Yes, and it is the most common request we get here. We check spare capacity at the board, then add double outlets, USB outlets and downlights where they suit your furniture and routine. If the house is still under the builder’s warranty, we note anything that looks like a defect so you can raise it with them.
Usually the cooling shares a circuit with other big loads or the breaker is undersized for the unit. In four-bedroom Leppington homes running several split systems, we see this often in summer. We measure the load, fit a dedicated circuit where needed, and check the rest of the board so one heatwave does not shut down the whole house.
Both. Most of the suburb belongs to Camden Council, while the north-western part sits within the City of Liverpool. This affects planning approvals for things like outbuildings and granny flats, so check with the right council first. Electrical rules are identical either way, and every job ends with a CCEW.
Yes, once approvals are in place. We work out whether your existing supply and board can carry a second dwelling, run a submain to the new building and fit its own board and safety switches. Supply upgrades at the street are handled by an accredited provider, and we coordinate with them.
Each level of a NSW rental needs a working alarm. Once a tenant flags a dead or chirping unit, you have two business days to fix it, and any alarm a decade past its stamped build date gets replaced. Hard-wired alarms need a licensed electrician. About a quarter of Leppington homes are rented, and we look after many of them.
If you have a booked job with us, we check your switchboard, safety switches and alarms while we are there at no extra cost, including smoke alarm testing. For landlords and owners who want a standalone inspection, we quote that separately and give you a written report of anything that needs attention.
Yes. Each tradesperson we send is NSW-licensed and insured, and the lifetime labour guarantee Spyro has offered since opening the doors applies to every Leppington job. If something we installed in your Leppington home is not right, we return and fix it.
