Homes near Marayong station, families around Marayong Park on Davis Road, and businesses in the industrial streets north of the railway can all claim our current Marayong deals, as can streets off Quakers Road and Breakfast Road. Mention the offer when you call us.

Marayong is mostly freestanding homes: 87.6 per cent separate houses at the 2021 Census, with 51.1 per cent of dwellings having three bedrooms. Much of the suburb south of the railway was built as Housing Commission estates in the 1960s, so we regularly meet original ceramic fuse boards, few earth leakage devices and circuits never sized for today’s appliances. We replace old boards, carry out rewiring where insulation has perished, and add circuits for air conditioning, laundries and kitchen renovations.

An industrial area was released north of the railway line when the suburb urbanised, and 14.8 per cent of employed residents work as machinery operators and drivers. Workshops, depots and small factories need three-phase outlets, machine isolation, LED high-bays and fault repairs. We handle this commercial electrical work around shifts and delivery times.

We offer same-day service right across Marayong, from Richmond Road up to the railway and the industrial pocket beyond. Common urgent calls: a 1960s fuse blowing repeatedly, a burnt-out outlet behind a fridge, or a workshop losing supply to a compressor mid-shift.
Marayong has a solid base of long-term owners, with a quarter of homes owned outright, alongside a large rental share of 40.3 per cent. Owners who have lived here for decades call us to modernise the wiring in houses from the commission era, investors need rentals brought up to standard between tenants, and families renovating three-bedroom homes want extra lighting and outlets. As a Marayong local electrician we know how these houses were put together.
North of the station the work changes to depots and workshops, where downtime costs money. Swapping an old board for modern protection, tracking down an intermittent fault in a sixty-year-old circuit, or answering an emergency electrical call when a workshop goes dark are regular jobs for us here and throughout Western Sydney.

Public housing estates built in the 1960s shaped much of southern Marayong. We find brittle cable, missing earths and overloaded circuits, and replace them in stages that suit the owner's budget.
About 40 per cent of Marayong dwellings are rented. We install and test hard-wired smoke alarms, confirm coverage on every level and give landlords dated records for their agent.
The industrial land north of the line holds workshops and freight businesses. We supply three-phase power, machine isolators and lighting, and plan shutdowns to avoid disrupting production.
Semis, townhouses and flats make up around 12 per cent of homes. We sort faults in shared meter boards and driveway lighting, and tell owners clearly which part strata is responsible for.

Our licensed electricians have opened many 1960s Marayong switchboards and know where original wiring tends to fail, especially in ceiling spaces and at old junction boxes.

We inspect before quoting and give you one fixed number on paper. A fuse board swap and a full rewire of a three-bedroom house are priced on what we actually find.

When an older Marayong home loses power or a workshop north of the station trips out, we bring that visit forward so you are not left waiting.

More than 250 customers trust us, including long-time Marayong owners, local landlords and industrial tenants who recommend us to neighbours and business contacts.

The labour on every circuit we install in a Marayong house or workshop is guaranteed for life, so a new board or rewire is protected for the long haul.

Tell us your street and what is happening, whether it is a fuse board, a new circuit or a factory fault. We then book around your work, shifts or school pickups at Marayong Public.

We look at the board and wiring, explain the options in plain English, and send a fixed written quote so you know the cost before work starts.

Most Marayong homes have driveways, so we park close and arrive on time. If traffic on Richmond Road or the M7 delays us, we call ahead.

Drop sheets go down, old fittings and offcuts leave with us, and your compliance certificate arrives with a plain summary of the changes.

Nearby suburbs we also serve

Spyro founded the business in 2017, and today our five-plus licensed electricians work across the Blacktown area, with Marayong a regular stop. The suburb mixes older commission-era houses, rental investments and a busy industrial pocket, which keeps our days varied. Whether it is a fuse board replacement for a retiree or a three-phase repair in a workshop, one electrician usually carries the job from quote to completion.

Housing Commission estates arrived in Marayong in the 1960s, and many of those houses still run on boards from that era. With 87.6 per cent of dwellings being separate houses, a board upgrade is the single job we recommend most in 2148.

Every Marayong job we finish is covered by a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, as NSW law demands. In 1960s homes we often uncover old cable joined to newer work, so anything we disturb is tested and either corrected or noted in writing. Altering a board brings RCD protection onto every final subcircuit under AS/NZS 3000, and since 1 May 2023 Type AC units are no longer an option.
A board swap in a Marayong house can be quick or involved. A three-bedroom brick home whose wiring tests clean may just need a new enclosure, while an untouched 1960s house with perished cable may need circuits rewired first. So we inspect, explain what we found, and then give one fixed price in writing before we begin.
Old fuse board, a rental that needs alarms before the next tenant, or a workshop north of the station that keeps tripping? Call 02 8999 3691. A licensed electrician will inspect, give you a fixed written quote and guarantee our labour for life.
Marayong homeowners, landlords, townhouse owners and industrial tenants ask us these questions most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Usually. We work Monday to Friday 7am to 5:30pm and Saturdays 7am to 2pm, and Marayong is close to Blacktown, where we work often. Phone 02 8999 3691 early and we will aim to be there the same day. Safety risks such as sparking, burning smells or a board that will not reset jump the queue.
We do not publish rates, because Marayong jobs vary widely. Adding a circuit to a renovated house is simple, while the same work in a home with original 1960s wiring may need testing and repairs first. After we inspect, you receive a written fixed price that only changes if you add work.
In most cases, yes. Many houses built during the 1960s public housing expansion still have ceramic fuses and little or no RCD protection. Fuses can be overloaded with the wrong wire, and without RCDs a fault can injure someone. We test the wiring, replace the board with breakers and safety switches, and explain anything else we find.
Generally the wiring inside your townhouse, from your own board onwards, is your responsibility. Shared meter panels, driveway lighting and common supply cables are usually strata’s. We trace the fault, confirm where it sits and write a short finding for both the owner and the strata manager.
You need a working alarm on every storey. When a tenant reports a fault, repairs are due within two business days, and alarms must be replaced ten years after their manufacture date. Hard-wired alarms have to be fitted by a licensed electrician. We also offer smoke alarm testing between tenancies with dated records.
Yes. Workshops and depots north of the railway line need three-phase outlets, isolators for machinery, lighting upgrades and fault finding. We plan shutdowns around shifts and deliveries, and we can document circuits so maintenance staff know what each breaker controls.
It can. Western Sydney summers push many Marayong households to add split systems, and older boards were not built for that load. We check the board and supply capacity, run a dedicated circuit for each unit, and recommend an upgrade if the existing board cannot safely take the extra demand.
Usually, yes. Marayong households average 1.6 vehicles and most homes are freestanding with a driveway or garage. We check capacity at the board, which may need upgrading in an older home, then run a dedicated circuit and fit the charger in a convenient spot.
When we attend for a booked job, we check the board, safety switches and any obvious hazards without extra charge. A full written safety inspection, such as before buying or leasing a house, is quoted separately so the cost is clear upfront.
Yes. Every electrician on our team holds a NSW licence and is insured. We have operated since 2017 under founder Spyro, each job comes with a compliance certificate, and our labour is guaranteed for life on every Marayong home or workshop.
