Own a unit above the Village Square, manage a building near Cahill Park, or run a cafe opposite the station? Our Wolli Creek specials reach Discovery Point, Gertrude Street and Levey Street as well. Name the offer during your booking call and it comes off the job.

Almost every Wolli Creek home is an apartment. The 2021 Census counted 98.3 per cent flats and only 0.7 per cent separate houses, with 60 per cent of dwellings holding two bedrooms and 63 per cent rented. The towers are young: the area was industrial until redevelopment began in the late 1990s, and the suburb was only declared in 2002. Our work here is unit boards, LED downlight swaps, extra outlets for home offices, induction cooktop circuits and tracing faults that cross from a lot into common property.

Ground-floor retail around the Village Square, opposite the station, holds restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy and small shops, and the suburb also has two airport hotels. For tenancies here we fit out new shops, add kitchen circuits, run data points, and service exit and emergency lighting on a schedule that avoids trading peaks.

Wolli Creek residents and businesses can count on same-day service from our team. Frequent urgent calls here: a unit board that trips whenever the oven and air conditioner run together, a shopfront losing power before lunch, and a dead corridor or basement lighting circuit.
Most of our Wolli Creek work is in apartments. Renters call about dead outlets and tripping boards, investors want alarms and safety switches sorted between leases, and owners corporations need someone who understands how lot wiring meets the building supply. Being your Wolli Creek electrician also means looking after the eateries around the Village Square, where a failed circuit during service costs real money.
The towers here are young, but that does not mean trouble-free. Unit boards are often sized for the original appliances only, and adding a second split system, an induction cooktop or a car charger in the basement can push them over. We check capacity before adding load, report common-property faults to strata in writing, and handle an urgent electrical fault in a unit or a shop as quickly as we can across St George and Canterbury-Bankstown.

With 98.3 per cent of dwellings being flats, most calls start at a small unit board. We find overloaded circuits, add breakers where there is room and split kitchen and air conditioning loads so the whole unit stops tripping.
Towers here run on shared meter rooms, risers and car park supply. We confirm with the building manager what is lot and what is common property, then fix and report in writing.
About 63 per cent of Wolli Creek homes are rented, so agents call us between leases to replace expired smoke alarms, test RCDs and supply dated records for landlord files.
The Village Square opposite the station holds restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy and a barber. We add kitchen circuits, lighting and signage power, and schedule noisy work outside peak trading.

Our licensed team knows the post-2000 apartment towers of Wolli Creek, from compact unit boards in hallway cupboards to basement meter rooms and shared risers controlled by the building manager.

Before work starts you receive one written amount. A one-bedroom unit near the station and a shop fit-out by the Village Square are priced separately, each after an on-site look.

A unit left without power or a Village Square kitchen that has tripped mid-service moves up our schedule, and we give you a realistic arrival time rather than a vague promise.

Wolli Creek tenants, investors, strata committees and cafe owners are counted in the 250+ customers who have reviewed us, and apartment work like theirs makes up much of our St George week.

Labour on every circuit, fitting and board we install in a Wolli Creek unit or shop is guaranteed for life, so any workmanship fault is fixed at no charge to you.

Give us your building name, unit number and the building manager contact. We book a time that fits your lease, your roster or the strata lift and loading dock rules.

We look at the unit board and the riser if needed, explain what we found in everyday language, and send a written price that holds unless you change the scope.

Visitor parking around the station is tight, so we arrange basement access or a loading bay ahead, then show up inside the agreed window and text if we are running late.

Lift protection comes down, floors and benches are wiped, packaging goes with us, and you get the compliance certificate plus notes for the strata manager where common property was involved.

Local pockets we cover in Wolli Creek
Nearby suburbs we also serve

The business began with Spyro in 2017 and now runs with five-plus licensed electricians. Wolli Creek, only declared a suburb in 2002, has become a regular stop because it is almost entirely apartments, and apartments bring particular problems: tight boards, shared supply and strata rules. We work with building managers, renters and investors, and the same crew sees each job through, from the first call to the compliance certificate.

Wolli Creek averages just 0.9 vehicles per dwelling and 98.3 per cent of homes are apartments, so nearly every charger here goes into a shared basement. Getting one approved and wired means working with strata, the building supply and the unit board at once.

Once a Wolli Creek job is done, we issue the Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work that NSW rules demand. New towers are not exempt from problems: boards squeezed into hallway cupboards and extra appliances added since handover can push circuits past their limits. If we alter or replace a board, AS/NZS 3000 calls for residual current protection across the final subcircuits, and we never install Type AC devices, which new work has excluded since 1 May 2023.
Each quote we give is a single figure in writing, agreed before we begin. Estimating by phone is unreliable here: swapping lights in a one-bedroom unit near the station is fast, but running a charger circuit from a unit board to a basement bay three levels down involves fire-rated penetrations and strata sign-off. So we look first, then commit to one price.
Unit board tripping, an agent chasing alarm paperwork, or a basement bay that needs an EV charger? Phone 02 8999 3691. We will send a licensed electrician to inspect, give you a written price before any work, and back the labour for life.
Wolli Creek renters, apartment investors, strata committees and Village Square business owners send us these questions most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Most days, yes. We work weekdays between 7am and 5:30pm and Saturdays between 7am and 2pm, and Wolli Creek is on our regular route between Arncliffe and Tempe. Phone 02 8999 3691 early and there is a good chance we reach you before close of business. Sparks, a hot board or a main switch that will not hold get priority over routine work.
We inspect first, then quote one fixed amount in writing. The cost depends heavily on where the work sits. Adding a power point inside a unit is simple, while anything that runs through common property, fire-rated walls or the basement needs strata approval and more labour. Once agreed, the price does not move unless you ask us to add to the scope.
The usual cause is too much load on a small board. Many units were fitted with just enough circuits for the original appliances, and later additions such as a second air conditioner, an induction cooktop or a bar heater push them over. A faulty appliance can also trip a safety switch. We test each circuit, find the culprit and suggest splitting loads or adding breakers.
That depends on where it sits. Wiring from your own unit board into your rooms is generally the lot owner’s responsibility, while main boards, risers, corridor and basement lighting usually belong to common property. In a suburb where 98.3 per cent of homes are flats, we deal with this weekly and can put our finding in writing for both parties.
Often, yes, but strata approval comes first. We assess spare capacity on your unit circuit and the car park supply, map a cable route to your bay, and prepare a clear scope for the owners corporation. Once approved, we run a dedicated circuit with its own RCD and meter it to your lot so the power is billed to you.
It is worth thinking about. Basement car parks, balconies and outdoor areas close to the river and Wolli Creek can see damp and water after heavy rain. We check that outdoor and basement power points have the right weatherproof rating, that circuits are protected by safety switches, and that any water-affected fittings are tested before they are switched back on.
A working alarm is needed on each level of the unit, a reported fault must be repaired within two business days, and alarms must be swapped out within ten years of their manufacture date. Hard-wired alarms have to be installed by a licensed electrician. As 63 per cent of homes here are rented, much of our work is for agents, including alarm testing between tenancies with dated records.
Yes. The Village Square and the ground-floor retail around it hold restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy and other small shops. We plan circuits for commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration, lighting and signage, install emergency and exit lighting, and book disruptive work outside trading hours. For new tenants we can also coordinate with the building manager on access and shutdowns.
Tempe House and St Magdalen’s Chapel at Discovery Point are listed heritage items, so any work involving them needs the right approvals. For the apartments and shops around them, standard electrical work is routine. If you manage a property close to a heritage site, check with Bayside Council about any conditions and we will plan our work to suit.
All our electricians hold NSW licences and are insured. The business has been operating since 2017 under founder Spyro, and every job comes with a compliance certificate. Labour on work we carry out in a Wolli Creek unit, common area or shop is guaranteed for life, so if our workmanship lets you down we return and fix it.
