Our limited-time specials run across Leumeah, from the station shops on O’Sullivan Road to Parkhill Crescent, Pembroke Road, Rose Payten Drive and the streets behind Campbelltown Stadium. Mention the offer when you call and we add it to your written quote.

Leumeah grew in stages: a 1926 land release held back by the Depression, then steady subdivision through the 1950s and 1960s before the suburb was formally named in 1969. That history leaves post-war houses, later townhouse complexes and a few apartment blocks. The 2021 Census recorded 77.1 per cent separate houses, 15.5 per cent semis and townhouses and 7.5 per cent flats. Older homes often need full or partial rewiring, and we upgrade unit boards in the townhouse complexes too.

Leumeah’s commercial core is compact: Leumeah Shopping Centre with its IGA and post office beside the station, the Parkhill Crescent shops, and Wests Leagues Club on Old Leumeah Road next to Campbelltown Stadium. For retailers and hospitality venues we provide commercial electrical maintenance, lighting upgrades and new circuits for equipment.

In Leumeah, calls to our same-day service usually involve a 1960s house blowing a fuse on the kitchen circuit, a townhouse losing power to half its rooms, or a shop near the station with a refrigeration circuit that refuses to reset.
Our Leumeah work covers a broad mix. With 38.6 per cent of dwellings rented, above the NSW figure of 32.6 per cent, landlords and property managers make up a big share, booking alarm compliance and repairs their tenants report. Owner-occupiers in the older streets off Pembroke Road want board upgrades, extra power and LED lighting, while strata committees need common area lights fixed. Acting as the Leumeah local electrician for all of them means working to tight tenant and committee timelines.
Leumeah’s streets take their names from NSW dams, lakes, explorers and pioneer farmers, and we know our way round them. On match days near Campbelltown Stadium, home of Macarthur FC and the Wests Tigers, we plan parking around the crowds. For sparking outlets, burning smells or dead circuits, our emergency electrical service covers Leumeah and all of Macarthur.

Subdivision kept going through the 1950s and 1960s. Houses from that period can have old fuse boards, missing earths and too few outlets, so we test, rewire where needed and fit modern RCD-protected boards.
About 15.5 per cent of Leumeah dwellings are semis or townhouses. We repair unit boards, common lighting and shared meter panels, and confirm in writing which faults belong to the owner and which to strata.
With 38.6 per cent of homes leased, we help landlords meet NSW rules: replacing alarms at ten years, fixing reported faults inside two business days and fitting hard-wired smoke alarms.
Leumeah Shopping Centre, the Parkhill Crescent shops and Wests Leagues Club all rely on steady lighting, refrigeration and signage power. We handle maintenance and new circuits with minimal disruption to trading.

Our licensed electricians often work on Leumeah homes from the 1950s and 1960s subdivisions, where fuse boards and older cable need careful testing before anything is changed.

We inspect, then quote one fixed written price. Rewiring an older house off Pembroke Road and repairing lights in a townhouse complex are priced apart, because the effort differs greatly.

A tenant without power, a sparking outlet or a shop near Leumeah station with a dead fridge circuit is treated urgently, and we aim to reach you the same day.

Leumeah landlords, owner-occupiers and small shop owners are among our 250+ customers, and many pass our number to neighbours on the dam and lake-named streets.

We back our labour for life on everything installed in Leumeah, from one smoke alarm in a rental to a complete rewire of a post-war house.

Book a time that suits you or your tenants. For rentals we can arrange access directly with the occupant, and for townhouses we check strata requirements first.

We look at the board and the task, explain it in everyday language and email a fixed written price for approval before work starts.

We arrive when agreed and allow for parking near the station and match-day crowds by Campbelltown Stadium. If we are running behind, we call you.

We clean up, remove offcuts and packaging, and leave you or your agent the CCEW together with a short report on the work done.

Since Spyro started the business in 2017, the team has grown to five-plus licensed electricians. Leumeah has become familiar ground because of its mix: older houses from the post-war subdivisions, townhouse complexes, rentals needing quick compliance work and a handful of shops near the station. We like jobs where thorough testing and clear communication matter, and Leumeah supplies plenty of them. The electrician who quotes stays with the job until it is signed off.

Leumeah’s first land release came in 1926 and subdivision ran through the 1950s and 1960s, so many houses carry wiring more than sixty years old. With 77.1 per cent of dwellings being separate houses, rewiring is one of the larger jobs we quote in 2560.

Every Leumeah job ends with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, which NSW makes compulsory. In houses from the 1950s and 1960s we often find old cable and missing earths, so we test before altering anything. Under AS/NZS 3000, a replaced or altered switchboard needs RCD protection on all final subcircuits, and Type AC safety switches have not been allowed in new work since 1 May 2023.
You get a fixed price in writing before we begin. Pricing Leumeah jobs over the phone rarely works: adding lights in a newer townhouse is straightforward, but the same work in a 1960s house off Pembroke Road can involve brittle cable, a cramped roof space and a board that must be replaced first. We inspect, then give you one figure.
Old fuses in a house off Pembroke Road, a tenant reporting a faulty alarm, or a shop near the station that needs more power? Call 02 8999 3691. A licensed electrician will inspect your Leumeah property and provide a fixed written price, with a lifetime guarantee on labour.
Leumeah landlords, owner-occupiers, townhouse owners and local shopkeepers ask us these questions most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
In most cases. We work 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm on Saturday, and we are closed on Sunday. Leumeah sits just north of Campbelltown, where we work constantly, so phoning 02 8999 3691 in the morning usually means a visit before the day ends. Tell us straight away about smoke, sparks or a hot switch.
We do not give prices until we have seen the job. A townhouse repair, a fuse board replacement in a 1960s house and a shop lighting upgrade near the station involve very different labour and materials. After an inspection we put one fixed price in writing, and that price stands unless you ask for more work.
Warning signs include rewireable fuses, flickering lights, warm switch plates, rubber or cloth-covered cable in the roof, and outlets that are loose or discoloured. Houses from Leumeah’s 1950s and 1960s subdivisions are the likeliest candidates. We test the insulation of each circuit and give you a written report so you can choose between a full or staged rewire.
Generally, wiring from your own unit board into your rooms is the owner’s responsibility, and common lighting, shared meter panels and supply cables belong to strata. It varies between schemes, so we trace the fault first. You and the strata manager then get a clear written finding so the right party pays for the repair.
Landlords must keep a working smoke alarm on every level of the property. Faults reported by tenants need fixing within two business days, alarms must be replaced within ten years of manufacture, and hard-wired alarms need a licensed electrician. Because 38.6 per cent of Leumeah homes are rented, we also offer smoke alarm testing between tenancies with dated records.
Yes. Holly Lea and the Plough Inn on Holly Lea Road are heritage listed, and the barn built by early settler John Warby still stands as part of the Colonial Motor Inn. Ordinary homes nearby are not usually affected, but external work on or near a listed site may need Campbelltown City Council approval, so check before starting.
Yes. Leumeah Shopping Centre, with its IGA and post office, is within walking distance of the station on O’Sullivan Road, and there are more shops on Parkhill Crescent. We provide lighting upgrades, power for new equipment, refrigeration circuits, signage wiring and shop fit-out electrical work, scheduled to reduce disruption to trading.
In most freestanding houses, yes. We check your switchboard’s capacity, run a dedicated circuit to the garage or carport and fit the charger with its own protection. In older homes the board sometimes needs upgrading first, which we explain before quoting. For townhouses, strata approval is usually required before any charger goes in.
Leumeah is supplied by Endeavour Energy, so street-wide outages go to them on 131 003. If wires are down or there is a fire, call 000 and keep well away. If only your home, or one part of it, has no power, switch off major appliances and call us for fault finding.
All of Leumeah 2560, including the station shops on O’Sullivan Road, Parkhill Crescent, Pembroke Road, Rose Payten Drive, Old Leumeah Road, Holly Lea Road, the streets around Leumeah High School and Leumeah Public School, and the Campbelltown Stadium precinct. We also cover Minto, Campbelltown, Ruse, Bradbury, Airds, Bow Bowing, Woodbine and Blairmount.
