Renting out a house near Minto Mall, running a unit off Airds Road, or settled in One Minto? Our current 2566 deals cover Ben Lomond Road, Redfern Road and the streets around Coronation Park as well. Bring up the offer when you call and we will honour it.

Minto housing is mostly detached, with 79.6 per cent separate houses in the 2021 Census, 16.1 per cent semi-detached or townhouse dwellings and 4.1 per cent flats. Much of the east side followed the Housing Commission’s 1969 land purchase, while the One Minto renewal replaced older public housing with about 850 private and 360 public homes. Households average 3.1 people, and 37.2 per cent of homes have four or more bedrooms, so we spend plenty of time on switchboard upgrades, extra circuits and ceiling fans for busy family houses.

Minto has a real industrial base: warehouses along Airds Road sit opposite the Macarthur Intermodal Shipping Terminal, about 2 kilometres from the M5. Add Minto Mall with Woolworths and Kmart, schools and the Indoor Sports Centre, and there is steady commercial electrical work in lighting, three-phase circuits, fault finding and maintenance.

Our same-day service covers Minto from the Airds Road warehouses to the One Minto streets east of the railway. Common urgent calls here: a rental with no power to the kitchen, a warehouse circuit dropping out mid-shift, and outdoor fittings tripping after storms swell the Bow Bowing Canal.
Minto work splits three ways for us. Landlords and agents make up a big share, since 37.7 per cent of homes were rented in 2021, and they need alarm compliance, quick fault repairs and records they can forward. Families in the newer One Minto houses ask for EV chargers, outdoor power and extra circuits as their homes fill up. Then there are the industrial tenants along Airds Road, where downtime costs real money. Being a local Minto electrician means we already know the layout of each of these pockets.
Older houses from the Housing Commission years often have boards that were never meant for three air-con units and a home office. We replace them with modern boards, split crowded circuits and add proper protection. For anything smoking, sparking or dead, book an emergency callout and we will head over that day from wherever we are working in Macarthur.

Warehouses opposite the Macarthur Intermodal Shipping Terminal run forklift chargers, high-bay lighting and three-phase plant. We handle fault finding, lighting upgrades and new circuits while keeping shifts moving and docks open.
The One Minto renewal brought about 850 privately owned homes. Their owners ask us for EV chargers, outdoor power, extra data points and circuits for rooms that have since become offices or studios.
The Bow Bowing Canal runs north to south west of the railway, and council is preparing a floodplain plan. Outdoor fittings near low ground need weatherproof gear and careful RCD protection.
Tenants around Minto Mall, anchored by Woolworths and Kmart, rely on steady lighting, cold storage and point-of-sale power. We schedule work outside peak trade and keep freezers running wherever possible.

Our licensed electricians know Minto’s range, from Housing Commission-era brick homes near Pembroke Road to recent One Minto builds and Airds Road warehouses with three-phase supply and heavy machinery.

We see the job before we quote, then send a single written fixed price. A three-bedroom rental near the station and an Airds Road warehouse circuit get separate quotes, because the work differs.

A dead kitchen circuit in a Minto rental or a warehouse board tripping at shift change is treated as urgent. Our vans run the Campbelltown corridor daily, so same-day help is realistic.

Over 250 customers have rated our work, including Minto landlords who needed alarm compliance done fast and warehouse managers who wanted faults fixed without shutting the whole floor.

Our lifetime labour guarantee applies to every Minto job, from a rental smoke alarm to a new warehouse lighting circuit. If our workmanship ever fails, we return and repair it free.

Call or book online with your street and the type of property, such as a rental, One Minto home or Airds Road unit. We fit around tenants, shift rosters and loading dock schedules.

After inspecting the board and the job, we explain the options plainly and send one fixed written price. Agents and landlords can forward it straight to owners for sign-off.

We turn up within the time window agreed, whether that is a quiet house off Redfern Road or a busy industrial yard, and ring ahead if the M5 or Campbelltown Road delays us.

Before leaving, we test every circuit touched, clear away offcuts and packaging, label the board and hand over the CCEW, so owners and tenants know exactly what has been done.

Much of Minto’s housing was built after the Housing Commission bought land here in 1969, and 37.7 per cent of homes were rented at the 2021 Census against 32.6 per cent statewide. Many of those houses still run boards that predate air-con, induction cooking and home offices.

All work we complete in Minto comes with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, as NSW requires. For older Housing Commission-era homes, that record matters to landlords and insurers alike. Replacing or altering a board triggers the AS/NZS 3000 rule for RCD protection on final subcircuits, and we install Type A devices because Type AC units are no longer allowed in new work after 1 May 2023. Warehouse jobs on Airds Road get the same paperwork.
Minto quotes come after an inspection and arrive as one fixed figure in writing. The range of property here makes that essential: rewiring a kitchen in a brick rental from the Housing Commission era is a very different task from adding high-bay lighting to an Airds Road warehouse, or fitting an EV charger in a new One Minto garage. You see the price before we begin.
Old board in a Minto rental, a new home in One Minto that needs more power, or a warehouse fault on Airds Road? Call 02 8999 3691. A licensed electrician will inspect the job, commit to a fixed written price and stand behind the labour for life.
Minto landlords, property managers, One Minto homeowners and Airds Road business owners send us these questions most often. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Usually. Our crew is on the road 7am to 5:30pm weekdays and 7am to 2pm Saturdays, and Minto lies right on our Campbelltown corridor route. Call 02 8999 3691 in the morning and we can often reach you the same afternoon. Burning smells, sparking outlets or a main switch that keeps dropping out are prioritised above routine bookings.
We quote after seeing the work, not over the phone. A power point in a newer One Minto home might be quick, while the same job in an older brick house can mean chasing through solid walls or replacing brittle cable. Once we have inspected, you get a single fixed price in writing, and it only changes if you ask for extra work.
NSW landlords need a working smoke alarm on each storey, must fix a faulty alarm within two business days of being notified, and must replace alarms within ten years of manufacture. Hard-wired units must be installed by a licensed electrician. With more than a third of Minto homes rented, we regularly combine alarm testing, replacement and paperwork into one visit for agents. Ask about smoke alarm installation.
Homes built on the land the Housing Commission bought in 1969 were wired for far smaller loads than a modern family uses. With several air-con units, a dryer and many chargers, circuits get overloaded, and old boards may have only one RCD covering everything. We test each circuit, find the fault or overload, and usually recommend a new board with separate protection and room for extra circuits.
Yes. Many One Minto houses have garages close to the switchboard, which keeps the cable run short. We check the board has capacity, install a dedicated circuit with correct protection, and mount the charger where it suits your parking. If the board is already full, we include an upgrade in the same written quote so everything is done in one visit.
We do. Warehouses and yards on Airds Road need three-phase circuits, high-bay LED lighting, forklift charger points and quick fault finding when a machine trips. We plan work around shifts and loading schedules so the floor keeps running, and we issue a CCEW for every job, which landlords and insurers expect. Ask about data and network cabling for offices inside the units too.
Low ground near the canal can hold water after heavy rain, and Campbelltown City Council is preparing a floodplain management plan for the area. For homes close by, we keep outdoor power points and lights weatherproof, mount equipment above likely water levels where possible, and ensure every outdoor circuit has RCD protection so a wet fitting cuts power safely.
If the whole street is out, the problem is on the network, which Endeavour Energy runs across Macarthur. Report it on 131 003. If a wire is down or sparking, keep well back and call 000. We do not work on poles, overhead lines or network connections, but once power is restored we can check your board, reset protection and repair anything damaged inside the property.
Yes. We handle lighting upgrades, refrigeration circuits, point-of-sale power and fault finding for tenants around Minto Mall. We plan around trading hours to avoid lost sales, keep cold storage running where we can, and provide a CCEW after each job for landlords and insurers.
