Ingleburn housing falls into three groups: older homes on the English-named grid near the station, where the village was subdivided in 1885; 1970s subdivisions on the outskirts, including former Housing Commission streets and the bird and car-named estates; and a large share of townhouses. The 2021 Census counted 29.2 per cent semis, terraces and townhouses, far above the NSW figure of 11.7 per cent, beside 66.7 per cent separate houses. We rewire tired older homes, swap fuse boards and add circuits in compact townhouse kitchens.

West of the railway, most land has been industrial since the 1969 rezoning. Factories and distribution warehouses, such as those on Williamson Road close to the M5, plus low-rise shops and offices along Oxford Road, need commercial and industrial electrical work: three-phase machine circuits, high-bay LED lighting, exit and emergency fittings, and planned maintenance.

Ingleburn calls to our same-day service tend to be a dead three-phase circuit halting a production line west of the tracks, a scorched fuse carrier in an older home near Oxford Road, or storm damage to outdoor lighting in a townhouse complex.
Ingleburn keeps us busy on both sides of the railway. East of the line we work for owner-occupiers, landlords and strata committees; 34.1 per cent of dwellings were rented at the 2021 Census, so property managers ring us for alarm compliance and fault repairs between tenants. West of the line, factory managers and warehouse operators want machinery circuits, lighting upgrades and shutdown work booked around shifts.
Being your Ingleburn local electrician means knowing the street patterns too, from Chester Road and Cumberland Road near the Village to Lorikeet Avenue and Lancia Drive further out. Older houses close to Ingleburn Public School may hide original cabling, while newer townhouses need extra outlets for work-from-home desks. For a sparking outlet or total loss of supply, our emergency electricians cover Ingleburn and the rest of Macarthur.

Nearly three in ten Ingleburn dwellings are semis, terraces or townhouses. We work out whether a fault belongs to the owner or to common property, upgrade unit boards and repair shared driveway lighting.
The village was laid out from 1885 and its first streets carry English place names such as Oxford, Cambridge and Suffolk. Houses here can have ageing cable and fuse boards, which we test, replace and protect.
Land west of the line was rezoned for industry in 1969. We install three-phase circuits for machinery, high-bay LED lighting, emergency exit fittings and extra power for warehouses and workshops.
With 34.1 per cent of homes rented, landlords and agents rely on us to replace expired smoke alarms, fix reported faults quickly and leave clear dated records for each tenancy.

Our licensed team works in Ingleburn houses dating back decades and in factories west of the station, so moving from a domestic fuse board to three-phase plant is routine for us.

We see the job, then give a written fixed price. A board in a Cambridge Street house and lighting for a Williamson Road warehouse are each costed on what they actually involve.

A factory circuit down mid-shift or a scorched outlet in a rental near Oxford Road is treated as a priority, with the goal of getting an electrician to you that day.

Our 250+ customers include Ingleburn landlords, townhouse owners and small manufacturers, many referred by a neighbour or by another business across the industrial estate.

Labour on everything we install in Ingleburn, from a single outlet in a townhouse to a warehouse lighting circuit, is covered by our guarantee for as long as you own it.

Tell us if it is a house, a townhouse complex or a factory unit. We book a time that fits your tenants, your strata manager or your shift roster.

Once we have seen the board and cable paths, you receive a fixed written figure and a plain explanation of the work before anything begins.

We arrive inside the agreed window, with street parking near Ingleburn station or a loading dock off Williamson Road already planned, and we ring ahead if held up.

Offcuts and packaging leave with us, factory aisles are left clear for your staff, and you get the CCEW plus a note of exactly what we changed.

Local pockets we cover in Ingleburn

Spyro founded the business in 2017, and today five-plus licensed electricians share the work. Ingleburn suits a crew like ours because one day here can mean a fuse board swap in a house off Oxford Road in the morning and machine circuits in an industrial unit by afternoon. We have learnt the suburb’s two sides: careful, tidy work in family homes and rentals, and planned shutdowns for businesses that cannot afford idle machinery.

Ingleburn’s village dates from 1885 and its outer estates from the 1970s, so we still open plenty of boards with rewireable fuses or a single safety switch. With 34.1 per cent of dwellings rented at the 2021 Census, the call often comes from a landlord after an inspection flags the old board.

NSW requires a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work for every job, and each Ingleburn house, townhouse or factory unit we work on gets one. Older homes on the original village grid often need earthing and cable checked before we alter anything. Under AS/NZS 3000 an altered or replaced board must protect all final subcircuits with an RCD, and Type AC devices have been barred from new installations since 1 May 2023.
You approve a fixed written price before we start. Ingleburn jobs vary too much for phone guesses: adding an outlet in a recent townhouse near Lagonda Drive is simple, while tracing a fault in an older house on the village grid can take hours, and wiring a new machine in a Williamson Road warehouse depends on available supply and cable distance. So we look first, then quote.
Old fuse board in a house near Ingleburn station, a tenant reporting a faulty alarm, or a new machine arriving at your factory west of the tracks? Call 02 8999 3691 and a licensed electrician will inspect the job and set a fixed written price, backed by our lifetime labour guarantee.
Ingleburn owners, landlords, townhouse committees and factory managers put these questions to us most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Often, yes. We are on the road from 7am to 5:30pm on weekdays and from 7am to 2pm on Saturdays; Sunday is our day off. Ingleburn sits halfway between Liverpool and Campbelltown on routes we drive constantly, so ringing 02 8999 3691 early gives the best chance of a visit before we close. Tell us about burning smells or sparks and we move you up.
We give no figures until we have seen the work. An older house on the English-named streets near the station may need earthing and cable repairs that a newer townhouse does not, and industrial jobs depend on supply, access and shutdown timing. After the inspection you receive one written fixed price, which only changes if you ask for extra work.
In most cases, yes. Rewireable fuses give no protection against electric shock, and older installations often lack RCDs entirely. Houses on Ingleburn’s original grid, subdivided from 1885, have had decades of additions, so we also find mixed cable types and undersized circuits feeding modern appliances. We test the installation, explain what is sound, and quote a new board with RCD protection on every circuit.
That depends on where the fault sits. Wiring inside your townhouse from your own board is normally the owner’s job, while common driveway lighting, shared meter panels and the cables supplying each unit are generally common property. With 29.2 per cent of Ingleburn dwellings in this category, the question comes up often. We trace the fault and report in writing to both owner and strata manager.
NSW rental homes need a working alarm on every level. A tenant-reported fault must be repaired within two business days, alarms must be replaced within ten years of manufacture, and hard-wired alarms can only be fitted by a licensed electrician. With about a third of Ingleburn homes leased, we handle many of these between tenancies and can carry out smoke alarm testing with dated records for the landlord.
Yes. The land west of the railway was rezoned for industry in 1969 and now holds warehouses, workshops and distribution centres, including sites along Williamson Road near the M5. We install three-phase supply for machines, upgrade high-bay lighting to LED, fit emergency and exit lighting and carry out fault finding. Larger jobs are scheduled around shifts or planned shutdowns.
Yes. Oxford Road is Ingleburn’s main shopping strip, with one and two storey shops and offices, and Ingleburn Village and the Town Centre sit beside the station. For a new tenancy we plan lighting, power and signage circuits as part of a shop fit-out, meet the landlord’s requirements and do the noisy work outside trading hours if the shop is already open.
A few. The Ingleburn Military Heritage Precinct and Mont St Quentin Oval on Campbelltown Road, Robin Hood Farm at 196 Campbelltown Road and Ingleburn railway station are all heritage listed. Ordinary homes nearby are not usually affected, but work on or close to a listed item may need Campbelltown City Council’s input, so check before any external changes.
Often, if you have your own garage or a designated space. Ingleburn averaged 1.6 vehicles per dwelling at the 2021 Census, and townhouse owners increasingly ask about charging. For a freestanding home we run a dedicated circuit from your board; in a strata complex we check who owns the supply and prepare the details the owners corporation will want before approving.
If the neighbours are dark too, it is a network fault for Endeavour Energy, which supplies Ingleburn; report it on 131 003. Keep clear of any fallen wires and call 000 if lines are down or there is a fire. If only your home or one part of it has lost power, switch off major appliances and call us to find the fault.
Every part of Ingleburn 2565: Oxford Road, Ingleburn Village and the Town Centre, the Lagonda Drive shops, Chester Road, Cumberland Road and Cambridge Street, the bird-named streets such as Lorikeet and Warbler Avenues, the Williamson Road industrial area and the streets around Milton Park, Wood Park and Memorial Oval. We also cover Macquarie Fields, Minto, Denham Court, Glenfield, Raby, Leumeah, Kearns and Edmondson Park.
