Our current Casula specials stretch from homes near Casula Mall and Reserve Road to townhouses beside the Hume Highway, streets bordering Leacock Regional Park and the Powerhouse end by the station. Say you spotted the deal as you book, and the saving lands on your job.

Casula has more townhouses than most of Sydney: 24.7 per cent of dwellings at the 2021 Census were semi-detached, row or townhouses, against 11.7 per cent statewide, alongside 71.1 per cent separate houses. The suburb only filled out from the late 1950s as farm acreage was carved up, so homes range from early builds near the original school on De Meyrick Avenue to far newer houses on later subdivisions through the central and southern parts. We handle switchboard upgrades, ceiling fans and whole-home rewiring.

Commercial Casula centres on Casula Mall, with Kmart, Coles and about forty specialty shops, and the Crossroads Homemaker Centre at the southern end, home to Bunnings, Costco and big furniture and electrical retailers. For tenancies like these we handle shop fit-outs, lighting retrofits, exit and emergency lights, and maintenance booked away from peak trading.

Same-day service reaches all of Casula, from the Georges River escarpment across to the M5 edge. Urgent calls we see here include a townhouse losing supply through a shared meter panel, a burnt-out oven circuit in a family kitchen, and an outdoor fitting shorting once heavy rain gets inside.
Families are our main Casula customers; the 2021 Census counted 56.3 per cent of families as couples with children, well above the 44.7 per cent state figure. That means busy kitchens, extra air conditioning and teenagers adding load to boards installed decades ago. Townhouse owners’ corporations call us about shared lighting and meter cabinets, and investors book checks before a new lease. Being a Casula electrician helps us plan each drive, since the Hume Highway and the M5 carve the suburb into distinct pockets.
Glenfield Farm on Leacocks Lane dates from about 1817, but most of what we open up is far newer: late-1950s houses around the first public school, then decades of subdivision heading south. Common jobs include LED downlight changeovers, new circuits for home offices, and an urgent callout when a board trips and refuses to reset. We carry the same service right across South-West Sydney.

Nearly a quarter of Casula dwellings are townhouses or semis, roughly double the NSW share. We trace faults across shared meter panels, driveway lighting and common circuits, and report clearly to the owners' corporation.
Casula suburbanised from the late 1950s, so early homes may still hold original cable and cramped boards. We test, replace failing runs, add safety switches and bring earthing up to current rules.
Casula Mall and the Crossroads Homemaker Centre hold dozens of tenancies between them. We fit lighting, power and signage circuits for specialty shops and plan noisy work away from peak trading.
Casula grew from poultry farms, market gardens and orchards, and some undeveloped pockets remain. On larger blocks we wire sheds, workshops and long outdoor runs, each with its own RCD protection.

Every era of Casula housing is familiar to our licensed team, from late-1950s homes near De Meyrick Avenue to townhouse complexes and the newer streets laid over former farm acreage.

A fixed written price follows our inspection. A townhouse sharing a meter panel and a detached family home off Reserve Road are each costed on their own merits, never guessed.

If your Casula house loses power or a board smells of burning, we reshuffle the day’s bookings and have a licensed electrician knocking on your door as early as possible.

Our 250+ customers across south-west Sydney include Casula families, townhouse committees and landlords near the mall, many of whom first heard about us by word of mouth.

Labour on each Casula job is guaranteed for life, so a rewired kitchen near Leacock Regional Park or a new board in a townhouse stays covered for as long as you own it.

Mention whether you live in a townhouse complex with visitor bays or a house with its own drive, and when someone is home. School pick-up times are easy to work around.

Once the circuits are tested and the board inspected, we lay out the options in plain words and email a set figure. The invoice only moves if you request extra work.

Hume Highway and M5 congestion is built into how we plan the run, so the van pulls up inside the agreed slot. Should something hold us up, you hear from us first.

Plaster dust gets vacuumed, old fittings and packaging go in the van, everything is tested with you, and the compliance certificate arrives alongside a brief summary.

From Spyro’s first van in 2017 to a team of five-plus licensed electricians today, the business has kept Casula high on its south-west roster. Households here are large, so a lot of our time goes into making older boards cope with modern loads, wiring renovations, and helping townhouse owners untangle shared electrical assets. The person who scopes your Casula job usually finishes it too, so details never slip through a handover.

Casula averages 3.2 people per household and 3.5 bedrooms per dwelling, against a NSW average of 3.1 bedrooms, and 56.3 per cent of its families are couples with children. Boards fitted when the suburb first filled out from the late 1950s were never sized for split systems, induction cooking and a house full of devices charging at once.

Each finished Casula job is backed by a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work lodged under state law. Many homes here were built across several decades and extended since, so anything we connect to gets tested. Replacing or changing a switchboard triggers the AS/NZS 3000 rule for RCD cover on final subcircuits, and from 1 May 2023 no Type AC unit may be fitted in new work, so none go into your board.
We price after looking, and the amount is confirmed in writing before any tools come out. Casula shows why: running a new circuit in a single-level house near the mall can be straightforward, but the same request in a two-storey townhouse with a shared meter cabinet brings strata access, longer cable paths and more patching afterwards.
Old board struggling with a full household, a townhouse committee chasing a common-area fault, or a shop at Casula Mall wanting fresh lighting? Dial 02 8999 3691. A licensed electrician inspects, commits to a written figure, and the workmanship carries a lifetime guarantee.
Casula families, townhouse owners, landlords and local retailers most often raise the following with us. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
In most cases. Weekday work runs 7am to 5:30pm, Saturday work 7am to 2pm, and Casula sits on our regular south-west route via the Hume Highway. Getting your call in early gives the best shot at a visit that afternoon. Burning smells, sparking outlets and a whole house without power are handled ahead of routine work.
There is no set list, because Casula jobs vary so widely. A light swap in a newer single-storey home differs greatly from fresh wiring in a townhouse where the meter lives in a shared cabinet. We inspect, explain the work and give you a written price before starting. It only shifts if you ask for something extra along the way.
Not automatically. Casula began filling with houses from the late 1950s, and early homes have often been added to over the decades, leaving a blend of old and newer cable. We test insulation, earthing and circuit loads, then report on what is safe. Frequently a new switchboard with RCDs deals with the urgent risks, and rewiring can be staged later.
Usually the dividing line is your own meter or unit board. Circuits feeding your rooms are generally yours, while driveway lights, shared meter enclosures, cabling to each dwelling and common area power typically belong to the owners’ corporation. Check your by-laws, as some schemes differ. Once we locate the fault, both you and the strata manager get our findings in writing.
Yes. Parts of Casula were subdivided from farm acreage over several decades, and some blocks still have room for a large shed or workshop. We run underground submains in conduit, fit a sub-board with its own RCDs, and add lighting and outlets suited to power tools. If the house board lacks capacity, we sort that out first.
We do. Casula averages 1.9 vehicles per dwelling and almost every home is a house or townhouse, so a home charger is often practical. We check board capacity, run a dedicated circuit, mount the charger and set up load management if supply is tight. Townhouse owners may need owners’ corporation approval before cable crosses common property.
About 31.9 per cent of Casula homes are rented, and NSW rules apply to each one. Landlords must keep an alarm working on each level, get a tenant-reported fault fixed inside two business days, and retire any alarm by its tenth year from manufacture. Hard-wired smoke alarms have to be fitted by a licensed electrician. We leave dated records after each visit.
Yes. We handle commercial electrical work for retail tenancies: new lighting layouts, extra circuits for equipment, exit and emergency lights, and signage power. Casula Mall and the Crossroads Homemaker Centre run to set trading hours, so we plan disruptive work around them and coordinate with centre management for access.
Early. Once the layout is fixed, we mark circuits for the oven, cooktop, rangehood, dishwasher and benchtop power, then rough in before the plasterers arrive. With the average Casula household at 3.2 people, kitchens get heavy use, so we size circuits for real demand. We return for fit-off after cabinetry and splashbacks are in.
Only for a small number of sites. Glenfield Farm at 88 Leacocks Lane dates from about 1817 and is heritage listed, and it is described as the oldest continuously worked farm in Australia. Most Casula homes are unaffected. Where a listing applies, we keep external conduit, meter boxes and lighting discreet and suggest checking with Liverpool City Council before any outside changes.
