Pemulwuy only became a suburb in January 2004, carved from Prospect on the old Boral quarry and CSIRO land, so nearly every home here dates from the last two decades. The 2021 Census counted 74.4 per cent separate houses, 19.3 per cent flats and 5.9 per cent townhouses, and 56.3 per cent of dwellings have four or more bedrooms. Newer does not always mean complete: owners call us for ceiling fans, extra outlets in media rooms and garages, outdoor lighting and circuits the builder never included.

The levelled quarry floor inside Prospect Hill is now an employment area of warehouses and distribution centres, with tenants such as HelloFresh, Toshiba, 3M and a Fujitsu data centre, plus the Greystanes Industrial Park. We handle high-bay lighting, three-phase circuits, dock and yard lighting and commercial maintenance for sites that keep goods moving.

Pemulwuy gets our same-day service from the Driftway Drive homes to the warehouses off Reconciliation Road. Urgent calls we take here include a family home losing half its circuits in a summer storm, an RCD that will not reset after water gets into an outdoor socket, and a dock door motor dead mid-shift.
More than half of Pemulwuy households are paying off a mortgage, 54.6 per cent at the 2021 Census, and 63.5 per cent of families are couples with children. That shapes our work: young families adding air conditioning, garage power and backyard lighting to homes the builder handed over bare. As your Pemulwuy electrician we also look after townhouse complexes near Nelson Square and the newer Southern Residential streets finished around Marrong Reserve.
West of the ridge the jobs change completely. Warehouses on the old quarry floor need lighting upgrades, machine circuits and fault finding when a conveyor stops. Whether it is a home on Watkin Tench Parade or a loading dock off Prospect Highway, an urgent electrical repair gets a quick answer from us here and across Western Sydney.

Most Pemulwuy houses went up after 2004, and standard builder packages rarely include every light and outlet a family ends up wanting. We add fans, garage circuits, outdoor points and dimmers so the home finally works for the family.
Nearly one in five dwellings here is a flat. We work with strata managers on common-area lighting and car park faults, and with owners on circuits inside their own lot.
The former Prospect quarry gap is now a light industrial estate. We service high-bay lighting, three-phase machinery supply, dock doors and emergency lighting for distribution tenants.
Pemulwuy runs several degrees warmer than the city on summer days. We install dedicated circuits for ducted and split systems and check that board capacity keeps up with the extra demand.

Our licensed crew knows Pemulwuy’s estate homes from the inside, including the tight roof spaces over double garages and the switchboards builders tuck into laundry cupboards.

We see the job before naming a number. A Lakewood townhouse and a four-bedroom Nelson’s Ridge home each get their own written fixed price, because the work differs.

A warehouse with no dock lighting or a family home near Grey Box Reserve with a dead kitchen circuit gets pushed forward in our day so you are sorted quickly.

Our 250+ customers include Pemulwuy families, townhouse owners and industrial tenants on the old quarry site, and plenty came to us through a recommendation next door.

The labour on every circuit, fan or fitting we install in a Pemulwuy home or warehouse is guaranteed for life, so our work outlasts any builder’s warranty period.

Tell us whether you are in Nelson’s Ridge, Lakewood or the industrial area and where the board is. We then offer a time that fits school runs, shifts or your site hours.

After checking the board and cable paths, we put a fixed figure in writing and explain what the job involves before any tool comes out of the van.

Barriers on Butu Wargun Drive split the suburb in two, so we plan our route around Reconciliation Road or the highway and arrive inside the window we agreed with you.

Plasterboard dust gets vacuumed, packaging leaves with us and you receive the compliance certificate plus notes on any new breakers labelled at your board.

Spyro founded the business in 2017, and our team has since grown to five-plus licensed electricians. Pemulwuy is one of our favourite suburbs to work in because the variety is real: modern family homes on one side of Prospect Hill and busy warehouses on the other. One week it is fans and downlights in a new Butu Wargun Drive house, the next it is three-phase fault finding at a distribution centre.

Pemulwuy averages 1.9 vehicles per dwelling, and most of its homes are modern detached houses with lock-up garages built since 2004. That combination makes home EV charging a natural next step, and it is a request we quote often in 2145.

NSW requires a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work after every job, and each Pemulwuy visit gets one. Newer homes are not exempt from problems: older builder boards can group several circuits on one RCD, and AS/NZS 3000 requires residual current protection on the final subcircuits whenever we alter or replace a board. Type AC devices have been off the list for new work since 1 May 2023, so we fit Type A or better.
Every Pemulwuy quote is a fixed figure given in writing once we have seen the site. Adding a fan in a single-storey home near Pemulwuy Lake is straightforward, while wiring a new circuit into a two-storey Nelson’s Ridge house can mean working through a crowded roof over a garage. A warehouse lighting job is priced on its own terms after we walk the floor.
New home that still needs fans and outdoor power, an EV arriving next month, or a warehouse with failing high-bay lights? Call 02 8999 3691 and a licensed electrician will look over your Pemulwuy property, give a written fixed figure and guarantee the labour for life.
Questions we hear most from Pemulwuy families, townhouse owners and warehouse managers on the old quarry site. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Usually. Our hours run from 7am to 5:30pm on weekdays and 7am to 2pm on Saturday, and Pemulwuy sits between the M4 and the Cumberland Highway, both routes we drive constantly. Phone 02 8999 3691 early and we can generally book you in for that afternoon. Sparking outlets, a hot board or no power at all are prioritised over routine work.
We quote after an inspection, and the price we write down is fixed. Jobs that sound identical can vary: a new outlet in a single-level home near Driftway Reserve is quick, but running a circuit to a garage in a two-storey house with a packed roof space takes longer. Warehouses are quoted after we walk the site and confirm the supply.
Homes in newer estates are often finished to a standard builder package, which can mean fewer outlets, basic lighting and a board with little spare room. Families add air conditioning, home offices and EVs, and the original setup struggles. We add circuits, upgrade lighting and check the board has enough RCD protection for the extra load.
Yes, and it is one of our most common Pemulwuy jobs. Owners often want more than the lighting that came with the build. We fit ceiling fans in bedrooms and living areas, replace old fittings with LED downlights, add dimmers and outdoor lighting, and plan the layout so you are not left with patchy light or visible cables.
Generally, circuits running from your own board into your townhouse are your responsibility, while driveway lights, the main supply and shared meter panels are owned by the owners corporation. Pemulwuy has a good number of townhouse and unit blocks, so we often trace faults across both. We work out which side the fault is on and give you and the strata manager a written report.
In most Pemulwuy homes, yes. With 1.9 vehicles per dwelling and lock-up garages on most blocks, it is a common request. We check spare capacity at your board, run a dedicated protected circuit to the garage and mount the charger. For townhouses where the garage is common property, strata approval comes first.
We do. The land inside Prospect Hill was levelled after quarrying ended and now hosts large warehouse and distribution sites. We service high-bay LED lighting, three-phase supply to conveyors and machinery, roller door motors, emergency and exit lighting, and fault finding when production stops. Work can be scheduled around shift changes to limit disruption.
Yes. We do not sell or install solar panels, but we regularly upgrade switchboards in homes with existing solar and battery systems. That includes adding RCD protection, making room for new circuits, fitting surge protection and labelling everything clearly, so the inverter and your household circuits are safe and easy to isolate.
All our electricians hold NSW licences and are fully insured. Spyro started the business in 2017, we now run five-plus licensed electricians and have completed more than 7,000 projects, and all labour on Pemulwuy jobs comes with a lifetime guarantee. If our workmanship causes a problem, we return and correct it for free.
