Own a unit off Windsor Road, a brick home near Northmead Reserve or a workshop on Briens Road? Our current Northmead deals also reach Campbell Street, Moxhams Road and the streets above Toongabbie Creek. Bring up the offer on the phone and it goes onto your quote.

Northmead has changed fast. The 2021 Census counted 11,261 residents, up from 6,969 in 2006, and flats rose from 9.9 to 31.5 per cent of dwellings over that stretch. Separate houses now make up 49.0 per cent, with 19.4 per cent townhouses or semis. Older homes on the orchard-era subdivisions near Moxhams Road need board replacements and extra circuits, while the newer blocks off Windsor Road bring lot-by-lot fault finding and strata paperwork.

Between Old Windsor Road and Toongabbie Creek sits a broad light industrial pocket, with Coca-Cola Amatil and an NSW Health ambulance superstation on Briens Road and a bus depot on Boundary Road. We look after warehouse and workshop wiring, three-phase machinery circuits, high-bay lighting and shop tenancies at The Junction and the Campbell Street centre.

We run same-day service into Northmead from Windsor Road down to the creek flats. Typical urgent calls: a townhouse board tripping after a storm, a factory unit losing a phase mid-shift on Briens Road, and a scorched outlet in an older family home near Northmead Public.
Our Northmead customers split roughly three ways. Families in the older detached houses around Moxhams Road and Elizabeth Crescent want older wiring made fit for induction cooking and air conditioning. Owners and investors in the apartment blocks built since 2006 need smoke alarm renewals and board checks, since 32.2 per cent of homes here are rented. Then there are the light industrial tenants south of Briens Road, who call us for machine feeds and warehouse lighting. As a Northmead electrician we know which end of the suburb a job sits in before we pack the van.
Hills slope steeply toward Darling Mills Creek and Toongabbie Creek, so plenty of homes have split levels, under-house rooms and long garden runs to sheds. We also handle urgent fault calls for the shops at The Junction, and we cover the rest of Western Sydney from Parramatta to Seven Hills.

Houses still make up 49 per cent of Northmead dwellings, many on sloping blocks above Toongabbie Creek. We rewire split levels, run supply to sheds and granny flats and add extra outlets where families have outgrown the original layout.
Flats jumped from 9.9 to 31.5 per cent of Northmead homes in fifteen years. We sort lot board faults, intercom and common lighting issues and tell strata clearly which repairs belong to the owners corporation.
The light industrial belt between Old Windsor Road and Toongabbie Creek holds warehouses, depots and trade workshops. We install three-phase outlets, machine isolators, LED high-bay lighting and emergency exit fittings for these tenants.
Northmead includes an 1850 sandstone house at 64 Windsor Road, once a grain mill manager's residence. For heritage and older cottages we run new wiring discreetly and avoid fixing anything to original stone faces.

Our licensed crew has worked through older Northmead family homes, split-level houses on the creek slopes and new apartment blocks off Windsor Road, so we arrive knowing the likely wiring behind the walls.

A factory unit on Boundary Road and a three-bedroom house on Moxhams Road get separate written quotes after we see them, because cable runs and supply differ so much between the two.

When a Briens Road warehouse drops power or a Northmead unit board keeps tripping, we reshuffle the day so an electrician reaches you quickly and makes the fault safe.

Among our 250+ customers are Northmead families, landlords with units near the T-way and small business owners at The Junction, many sent our way by neighbours.

Every circuit, board and fitting we install in Northmead carries a labour guarantee for life, whether it sits in a creekside house or a workshop south of Old Windsor Road.

Ring us with your street and whether it is a house, a townhouse complex or an industrial unit off Briens Road. We then book a slot that fits your shifts or the building manager.

Once the electrician has opened the board and traced the circuits, you receive one written figure for the job, set out plainly, before any cable is cut.

Windsor Road traffic can bite at peak times, so we route around it and arrive inside the agreed window. If something holds us up, we phone before the window closes.

Drop sheets protect floors, cut offcuts leave in the van and dust gets vacuumed. You also receive the compliance certificate and a short summary of what changed at your Northmead property.

Spyro started the business in 2017, and the team has since grown to five-plus licensed electricians working across western Sydney. Northmead keeps us busy because it holds almost every kind of job at once: older family homes on the hills, newer strata blocks along Windsor Road and a real industrial precinct near Briens Road. The electrician who scopes your job is the one who does it, and we keep notes on each Northmead property for future visits.

Spyro speaking. If your Northmead home has an old ceramic fuse board or your Briens Road workshop keeps losing power, give me a ring on 02 8999 3691 and we will send someone round to take a look.

Northmead went from 9.9 per cent flats in 2006 to 31.5 per cent in 2021, with another 19.4 per cent townhouses or semis, so half the suburb now lives under a strata scheme. Those buildings bring shared meter rooms, common lighting and lot boards that need clear ownership and regular checks.

NSW requires a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work after every job, and each Northmead visit gets one lodged. When a board in an older Moxhams Road house or a Briens Road factory unit is altered, AS/NZS 3000 brings RCD protection onto its final subcircuits. Type AC safety switches have been off the table for new work since 1 May 2023, so we fit Type A or better.
We price Northmead jobs only after a look, then fix the figure in writing. The spread is wide here: adding lighting in a recent Windsor Road apartment is a tidy morning, while the same work in a split-level house over the creek slopes means crawling under floors and longer cable runs. A written number removes the guesswork for both of us.
Need a board swap in a Northmead family home, compliance work across a strata block, or three-phase power for a workshop on Briens Road? Phone 02 8999 3691 and a licensed electrician will inspect, give you a firm written figure and back the labour for life.
Northmead homeowners, strata committees, landlords and industrial tenants put these questions to us most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
In most cases, yes. We work weekdays from 7am until 5:30pm and Saturdays from 7am until 2pm, and Northmead sits on routes our vans cover all week between Parramatta and the Hills. Phone 02 8999 3691 in the morning and we can often reach you that afternoon. A burning smell, a hot outlet or a main switch that will not reset is treated as urgent.
We inspect before we quote, then give one written figure. Northmead jobs vary a lot: a light fitting swap in an apartment near the Campbell Street shops is simple, whereas machinery supply in a Boundary Road unit or rewiring a split-level house on a steep block takes far more labour. The written price stands unless you ask us to add work.
Often it should. Many homes on the earlier Northmead subdivisions have ceramic fuses or a board with only one or two RCDs, which falls short of what current standards expect once work is done. Kitchens with induction cooktops and ducted air also push those boards hard. We test the existing circuits, explain what is sound and quote a replacement sized for how your family lives now.
It depends on where the fault sits. Wiring inside your lot, from your own board outwards, is usually the owner’s responsibility, while main switchboards, submains, lobby and car park lighting are normally common property. With so many Northmead blocks built since 2006, we see this often. We locate the fault and put our finding in writing for you and the strata manager.
Yes. Houses with a garage or carport are straightforward: we check spare capacity at the board, run a dedicated circuit and mount the charger. Northmead averages 1.6 vehicles per dwelling, so we often plan for two cars. In apartments the circuit usually comes from common switchgear, which means strata approval first, and we can supply the load details the committee needs.
We do. The Northmead industrial area between Old Windsor Road and Toongabbie Creek has warehouses, depots and trade workshops. We install three-phase outlets and isolators for machinery, replace failing high-bay fittings with LED, fit exit and emergency lighting and track down nuisance tripping. Noisy or disruptive work can be booked early to keep your shift running.
Around 32 per cent of Northmead homes are rented, so this comes up every week. Each storey needs a working alarm, a fault the tenant reports must be fixed within two business days, and alarms must be replaced within ten years of the date printed on them. Hard-wired alarms have to be fitted by a licensed electrician. We also offer alarm testing between tenancies and leave dated records.
Homes near Toongabbie Creek, Darling Mills Creek and Otto Losco Reserve see storms, falling branches and damp under-floor spaces. Outdoor outlets and garden lighting on those blocks should be weatherproof and on RCD-protected circuits. If water has reached wiring or a fitting after heavy rain, switch off at the main if it is safe and call us to test before power is restored.
Yes. Larger Northmead blocks often have room for a secondary dwelling or studio. We check whether the main board and incoming supply can carry the extra load, run a submain to the new building, fit its own board and circuits, and coordinate with your builder so the electrical work fits the construction timeline.
Everyone on our crew holds an electrical licence and we carry full insurance. Spyro founded the business in 2017, and our labour on every Northmead job is guaranteed for life. If anything we installed fails because of our workmanship, we come back and put it right at no charge.
