Leasing a unit off Grand Avenue, managing a yard on Thackeray Street or running a team near the Rosehill Gardens light rail stop? Our current Camellia deals also cover sites beside James Ruse Drive and the Camellia Indoor Sports Centre. Mention the offer as you book.

Camellia has almost no homes today. The 2021 Census could publish nothing for the suburb because it had no people or a very low count, and Wikipedia describes it as primarily industrial with no residential population. That is set to change: the Camellia-Rosehill Place Strategy plans about 10,000 homes by 2041. Until then, our home work in 2142 happens next door in Rosehill, Harris Park and Rydalmere, while inside Camellia we focus on the commercial and industrial electrical work that keeps its businesses running.

Industry has shaped Camellia since the 1880s, from Lysaght and James Hardie to Goodyear and Shell. Today Grand Avenue and Thackeray Street hold logistics yards, motor trades, warehouses and cafes. We supply three-phase power to machinery, repair faulted circuits in sheds, upgrade lighting and wire offices inside industrial units.

We offer same-day service across Camellia, from James Ruse Drive to the Duck River end of Grand Avenue. Urgent calls here are mostly commercial: a three-phase motor that will not restart, a dock door stuck shut after a fault, or a warehouse lighting circuit that has failed mid-shift.
Our Camellia clients are business owners, facility managers and landlords of industrial units rather than householders. A logistics operator might need extra outlets for scanners and charging stations; a mechanic might want a dedicated circuit for a hoist; a landlord between tenants wants every board tested and labelled. As a Camellia electrician we fit in around loading schedules and shift changes.
The suburb is also changing. Remediation began in late 2015, the Carlingford line closed in 2020 and the light rail now stops at Rosehill Gardens. Sites are being reworked, so we are called to strip out old wiring, set up temporary power boards for tenants moving in, and deal with any urgent electrical fault that stops trucks moving. From Camellia our vans move on to Parramatta, Granville and the rest of Western Sydney.

Camellia's workshops and plants use compressors, hoists and conveyors. We install three-phase circuits, isolators and motor protection sized for the load and fitted to suit the working area and access.
Some industrial buildings still run on boards with old fuses and little RCD protection. We assess them, replace worn parts and plan any switchboard upgrades around your production and delivery timetable.
Large-span venues such as the Camellia Indoor Sports Centre need even, bright lighting. We replace tired high-bay fittings with efficient LED units and fix circuits for scoreboards, kiosks and change rooms.
Warehouses and offices need working exit signs and emergency lighting. We test them, replace failed batteries and fittings, and give you a record to show building managers or fire safety assessors.

Our licensed electricians regularly work inside Camellia’s warehouses and yards and understand three-phase supply, heavy equipment and the site safety rules that come with industrial land.

We walk the site with you, then commit to one written price. A small unit on Thackeray Street and a large Grand Avenue warehouse each get a separately costed quote.

When a fault halts dispatch or leaves a workshop dark, we treat it as a priority and send the nearest electrician, as Parramatta is part of our daily run.

Our 250+ customers include business owners and property managers around Parramatta’s industrial fringe, many of whom pass our number to neighbouring tenants on the same estate.

Every circuit we install in a Camellia workshop or office comes with a lifetime guarantee on our labour, from a single machine feed to a full lighting upgrade.

Tell us the site address, gate access, induction requirements and busiest hours. We then book a time that avoids truck arrivals and keeps your forklifts working safely.

After inspecting the board, cable routes and equipment, we explain the scope in plain terms and put a fixed figure in writing before any work is carried out.

We arrive at the agreed time, sign in, follow your site rules and park where we will not block loading docks on Grand Avenue or its side streets.

Work areas are cleared, circuits are tested and labelled, and you receive the compliance certificate plus a short report to keep with your site maintenance records.

Local pockets we cover in Camellia
Nearby suburbs we also serve

Spyro started the business in 2017, and today five-plus licensed electricians work under the name across Sydney. Camellia gives us a different kind of week: warehouses rather than living rooms, three-phase motors instead of pool pumps. We look after machinery feeds, factory lighting, office fit-outs and board upgrades for local businesses, keeping disruption low so operations continue. The same small team follows each job through from quote to certificate.

Camellia is primarily industrial, with logistics, motor trades, manufacturing and warehouses making up its businesses. When a unit changes hands, the new tenant usually needs lighting, power and data reshaped for how they work, which makes office and warehouse fit-outs our most common Camellia job.

Every job we complete in Camellia comes with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work, lodged as NSW law requires. On older industrial sites, that means any circuits we touch are tested and made compliant, and anything we find beyond our scope is reported in writing. Changes to a board bring the AS/NZS 3000 requirement for RCD protection on final subcircuits, and Type AC devices have been barred from new installations since 1 May 2023.
Industrial work is too varied to price over the phone. Adding a single outlet in a small Thackeray Street unit is a short job, while rewiring the lighting across a big Grand Avenue warehouse means lifting gear, high ceilings and staging the work around deliveries. We inspect the site, agree the scope and give you a fixed price in writing, which only changes if you ask for more.
Machine feed needed, warehouse lighting failing or a new tenancy to set up in Camellia? Call 02 8999 3691 and a licensed electrician will visit, review the site and give you a written fixed price, with a lifetime guarantee on our labour.
Warehouse operators, workshop owners, property managers and facility staff in Camellia ask us these questions most. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Often on the same day. We work 7am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 7am to 2pm Saturday, and Sunday is closed. Parramatta is on our regular route, so a morning call to 02 8999 3691 often means an electrician on site that afternoon. A fault that stops production or leaves equipment live gets moved to the front.
It depends on what the site needs, which is why we inspect first. Power to one machine in a small unit is simple; relighting a tall warehouse involves elevated work platforms, staging and timing around deliveries. Once we have seen it, you get a written fixed price covering the agreed scope, and it only changes if you request additional work.
Yes, as long as the site already has a three-phase supply. We check the capacity at your main board, run a dedicated circuit to the machine, fit an isolator within reach and set suitable protection. If the building’s supply needs increasing, that becomes a job for Endeavour Energy and an Accredited Service Provider, and we will flag it early.
We do, under the site’s own safety plan. Camellia has a long industrial past, including the former James Hardie works, and remediation began in late 2015. We follow induction rules, stay out of restricted zones and coordinate with the principal contractor. We can supply temporary builders’ boards, disconnect old circuits and make areas safe for demolition crews.
Not the network side. New connections, service mains and work on poles or pits belong to Accredited Service Providers working with the network, and that is not our role. Where we help is inside the building: fit-outs, lighting, power and data once the supply is in place, plus later maintenance for tenants and owners corporations.
Yes. Warehouses, offices and venues in Camellia must keep exit and emergency lighting working. We run the discharge tests, replace failed batteries and fittings and record the results, which building managers and fire safety assessors can check. Regular testing helps you avoid surprises during an audit.
Yes. Logistics depots and workshops are increasingly adding electric vans and cars. We check the site’s spare capacity, plan the circuits, fit chargers on walls or pedestals and add load management so charging does not overload the board. Our work covers the installation from your switchboard to the charger.
Usually, yes. Old metal halide and fluorescent fittings in high-roofed buildings cost more to run and fail more often. Replacing them with LED high-bays, LED downlights in offices and sensors in quieter aisles lowers power use and improves visibility. We quote the change and can stage it section by section so work carries on.
Yes. Many older boards have little or no residual current protection. We assess the board and circuits, then add safety switches of Type A or better, or recommend a replacement board if the old one cannot take them. Circuits feeding equipment with high earth leakage may need careful arrangement, which we plan with you.
All of Camellia 2142, including Grand Avenue, Thackeray Street, the James Ruse Drive frontage, the Rosehill Gardens light rail stop area, the Camellia Indoor Sports Centre and sites along the Parramatta River, Clay Cliff Creek and Duck River. We also work daily in Rosehill, Rydalmere, Harris Park, Clyde, Parramatta, Granville and Ermington.
