Renting a unit off Wigram Street, running a restaurant in Little India or managing a block near Robin Thomas Reserve? Our Harris Park specials also reach Station Street East and the streets around Experiment Farm Cottage. Mention this deal on the phone and it comes off your bill.

Harris Park is an apartment suburb. At the 2021 Census, 85.0 per cent of occupied dwellings were flats and only 8.3 per cent were separate houses, against 65.6 per cent across NSW, and 73.8 per cent of homes had two bedrooms. Most jobs are therefore inside unit blocks: tired lighting circuits, crowded kitchens with one double outlet, and small boards tucked in hallway cupboards. We add extra outlets, fit ceiling fans in bedrooms, and replace failed fittings in lobbies and car parks for owners corporations.

Marion Street, Wigram Street and Station Street East were branded Little India by the City of Parramatta, with more than 20 eateries and shops. Restaurant kitchens there run commercial ovens, cool rooms and bain-maries on supply that often needs rethinking. We handle shop fit-outs, separate appliance circuits, illuminated signage and exit lighting, booked around meal services.

Our same-day service covers every Harris Park street between Parramatta station and the Granville side. Urgent calls here tend to be a unit board that will not reset, a Wigram Street kitchen losing its cool room during the lunch rush, or dark stairwells in a strata block after a storm.
Renters occupy 71.5 per cent of Harris Park homes, more than double the NSW share, so much of what we do is for property managers and investors: alarms between leases, dead outlets, and fittings that tenants report broken. Strata committees call on us for common area lighting and meter room faults, and restaurant owners along Wigram Street ask for extra capacity when they add equipment. We act as the local electrician in Harris Park for all of them.
The work shifts street by street. Near Hassall Street and the heritage cottages it is quieter residential blocks; closer to the station it is busier buildings and shops. Tracing a shared neutral fault, rewiring a tired unit kitchen, or answering an urgent electrical callout in a restaurant are normal days for our crew across Western Sydney.

Almost three in four Harris Park homes have two bedrooms, mostly in unit blocks. We work out whether a fault belongs to the lot or common property and report it clearly to owners and strata.
Experiment Farm Cottage on Ruse Street and Hambledon Cottage on Hassall Street are heritage listed. On nearby properties we keep new conduits, meter boxes and outdoor lights discreet and ask about council requirements first.
The Little India strip is packed with eateries and grocers. We run dedicated circuits for ovens, fryers and refrigeration, upgrade lighting and signage, and do noisy work between services.
Computer system design is the largest employing industry for Harris Park residents, at 8.4 per cent. We install data cabling, extra outlets for desks and screens, and tidy up tangled cords in small units.

Our licensed crew spends much of its Harris Park time inside two-bedroom unit blocks, so we know how their boards, risers and car park circuits are usually laid out.

After inspecting, we give one written fixed figure. A lobby lighting job for strata and a restaurant kitchen circuit on Marion Street get separate prices because the work differs.

When a Little India kitchen loses power mid-service or a tenant reports a dead board, we shuffle our day to reach Harris Park quickly.

Among our 250+ customers are Harris Park landlords, strata managers and restaurant owners, many of whom heard about us from a neighbour in the same building.

Labour on every circuit we install in a Harris Park unit, house or shop is guaranteed for life, so a workmanship fault never becomes your cost.

Let us know the building, unit number and how access works, whether that is an intercom, a strata key or an agent’s lockbox, and we will book a slot that suits.

We inspect the board and cable routes, explain the job simply, and then send a fixed price in writing. That price holds unless you ask for more.

Street parking near the station is tight, so we plan where the van goes and arrive inside the booked window. If we are running late, you hear from us first.

We leave common areas as we found them, take all offcuts away, and email your compliance certificate with a short note for the agent or strata manager.

Spyro founded the business in 2017, and the crew has since grown to more than five licensed electricians. Harris Park, right beside Parramatta, is a place we visit most weeks. The work suits a small, careful team: tenants who need quick fixes, strata committees who want clear reports, and restaurant owners who cannot afford a dark kitchen. The electrician who quotes your Harris Park job normally stays with it to the end.

At the 2021 Census, 71.5 per cent of Harris Park dwellings were rented, more than twice the NSW rate of 32.6 per cent. With so many leases turning over in unit blocks, alarm compliance is the service landlords and agents ask us for most.

Every Harris Park job finishes with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work lodged under NSW rules, and you keep a copy. Unit boards here are often small and crowded, so when we change or add to one, AS/NZS 3000 means RCD protection must cover each final subcircuit. Type AC devices have been barred from new installations since 1 May 2023, so we fit Type A or higher.
In Harris Park the same request can mean very different work. Adding a power point in a two-bedroom unit may need strata sign-off and a run through a concrete ceiling, while doing it in one of the few freestanding cottages is usually a simple roof space job. We look first, then set out one fixed price in writing before any work begins.
Smoke alarms due in a rented unit, a strata block with dark stairwells, or a Little India kitchen that needs more capacity? Ring 02 8999 3691. We will inspect it, quote a fixed figure in writing and guarantee our labour for life.
Harris Park landlords, tenants, strata committees and restaurant owners bring us these questions most often. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Often within the day. Our hours are 7am to 5:30pm on weekdays and 7am to 2pm on Saturdays, and Harris Park sits right beside Parramatta, which our vans pass through constantly. Call 02 8999 3691 early for the best chance of a same-day visit. Burning smells, sparking outlets or a board that will not reset are handled first.
We do not list set rates. A light fitting in a ground-floor unit and a new circuit for a restaurant fryer on Wigram Street are different jobs with different access and materials. We inspect, then give you a fixed written price, and it stays the same unless you add to the scope.
In Harris Park unit blocks we most often find an RCD reacting to a faulty appliance, a kitchen circuit overloaded by a kettle, microwave and heater at once, or loose connections at an old board. We test each circuit, isolate the cause and recommend the smallest fix that solves it, whether that is a new outlet, a split circuit or a board upgrade.
Generally, anything from your unit’s board into your rooms is the lot owner’s responsibility. Main switchboards, meter rooms, lobby and stairwell lights, and car park circuits are normally common property. With 85 per cent of Harris Park homes being flats, we see this question weekly and give a written finding to both parties.
Every level of the property needs a working alarm. When a tenant reports a fault, you have two business days to repair it. Alarms must be replaced ten years after the date printed on them, and hard-wired ones need a licensed electrician. We can book smoke alarm testing at each changeover and supply dated records.
Yes, with some care. Experiment Farm Cottage and Hambledon Cottage are both heritage listed, as is Kenilworth on Allen Street. For homes nearby we keep external work low-key and check with the City of Parramatta if the property itself carries a listing. Work inside a home is usually straightforward.
We can. Kitchens on Marion Street, Wigram Street and Station Street East often need separate supply for ovens, fryers, cool rooms and display fridges. We check what the building’s supply can carry, add circuits, fit exit and emergency lighting, and schedule shutdowns between lunch and dinner service.
It depends on your car space. Harris Park averages 1.1 vehicles per dwelling, and most parking is in shared basements or open car parks. If strata approves, we measure spare capacity, run a dedicated circuit from your unit board or a metered supply to your bay, and mount the charger.
When we are already at your Harris Park property for a booked job, we look over the board, safety switches and obvious hazards at no extra cost. A full written inspection, such as before leasing a unit, is quoted separately so you know the price first.
Yes. Every electrician on our team holds a current NSW licence and is insured. We have traded since 2017 under founder Spyro, each job gets a compliance certificate, and our labour carries a lifetime guarantee. Ask to see a licence card when we arrive at your Harris Park door and we will gladly show it.
