Revesby grew after its railway station opened in 1931 and filled out with modest post-war fibro bungalows. The 2021 Census counted 62.8 per cent separate houses and a striking 29.7 per cent semi-detached homes and townhouses, far above the 11.7 per cent NSW share, with only 6.7 per cent flats. Four-bedroom homes are common too. We rewire fibro cottages, wire extensions and knock-down rebuilds and fit boards sized for bigger households.

Revesby is both residential and industrial. The Violet Street and Marigold Street precinct holds warehouse and factory units, while Marco Avenue and Selems Parade carry the shopping village, the Revesby Abbey cafes and a large Woolworths. We handle shop and office fit-outs, three-phase circuits for workshops and lighting upgrades for retailers.

Our same-day service runs across Revesby from Canterbury Road down to the Revesby Heights edge. Common urgent jobs here: a fibro house whose ageing board has scorched, a duplex that loses power to one side, or a warehouse unit on Marigold Street with its main tripped mid-shift.
Owners outnumber renters in Revesby: 61.4 per cent of homes were held outright or with a mortgage in 2021. Many sit on the old Beaconsfield Estate grid, cut in 1889 into 707 quarter-acre lots between The River Road and Queen Street, and owners here keep improving those blocks. That means new circuits, kitchen power, LED downlight layouts and boards with room to grow for a second dwelling.
Being a Revesby electrician also means working in factory units off Violet Street, clubs and shops near Marco Avenue, and the station precinct that became the main East Hills line turnback in 2009. When a fault cannot wait, we send an emergency electrician to Revesby homes and businesses, and to the rest of St George and Canterbury-Bankstown, without leaving you chasing us for a time.

Revesby filled with modest fibro bungalows after the war. We treat old sheeting as a possible asbestos risk, route new cable through roof space and under floors, and replace brittle circuits with earthed modern wiring.
Nearly 30 per cent of dwellings are semi-detached or townhouses, more than double the NSW share. We wire separate boards for each side, sort shared meter positions and fit RCD protection throughout.
The Violet Street and Marigold Street precinct is an established industrial area with newer business parks. We add three-phase outlets, high-bay lighting and machine circuits for warehouse and workshop tenants.
Banks, cafes and specialty stores line Marco Avenue and Selems Parade beside the station. We look after shop lighting, kitchen equipment circuits and repairs booked around each retailer's trading hours.

Our team has pulled old cable out of countless Revesby fibro bungalows and understands their cramped roof voids, yet we are just as comfortable wiring a brand-new duplex properly from the slab up.

Inspection comes first, the figure second. A fibro cottage near Abel Reserve and a two-storey townhouse off Weston Street each get their own fixed written price, because the wiring inside differs so much.

A dead circuit in a Revesby lounge room or a tripped main at a Marigold Street workshop gets pulled forward in our day, and we give you an honest arrival estimate.

Among our 250+ customers are Revesby homeowners, duplex builders working on quarter-acre lots and small industrial tenants, many of whom now pass our number along to friends.

Every circuit our electricians run in Revesby comes with lifetime cover on the labour, from a granny flat feed to warehouse lighting near Violet Street.

Choose a time around work, swimming at Max Parker or a busy Saturday on Marco Avenue. Let us know about dogs, side gates or a locked garage so access is planned.

After testing the board and tracing circuits, we send a clear written price. Your Revesby job costs what that paper says unless you ask us to add more.

We plan the drive around Canterbury Road and Milperra Road traffic and pull up inside the agreed window. If an earlier job overruns, you get a call well before then.

Drop sheets come up, plasterboard dust gets vacuumed and offcuts leave in the van. You receive the compliance certificate and a short summary of every change.

Spyro founded the business back in 2017, and today five-plus licensed electricians work across southern and western Sydney. Revesby suits our crew because the work is so varied: rewiring a fibro cottage one morning, wiring a new duplex that afternoon, then fixing lighting in a factory unit on Violet Street. One electrician stays with your job from quote to certificate, and we keep the times we promise.

At the 2021 Census, 39.3 per cent of Revesby dwellings had four or more bedrooms, above the 33.9 per cent NSW figure, and owners keep adding space to post-war cottages. Extensions, second storeys and duplexes all need wiring planned before the plasterboard goes up.

Revesby customers receive a CCEW for every job, the NSW compliance certificate that records what was installed and that it was tested. On fibro homes we handle old wall and eave sheeting with care and route cable to avoid disturbing it. On duplexes we confirm each dwelling has its own RCD protection and that no circuit strays across the party wall into the neighbour’s side.
Revesby prices from us are fixed and written down, and they come after a site visit. A single-storey fibro cottage off Tompson Road and a new two-storey duplex near Amour Park are wired very differently, with different roof access, cable lengths and board sizes, so each earns its own quote. That number only shifts if you ask for extra work partway through.
From the Marco Avenue shops to the factory units on Violet Street, our licensed electricians look after Revesby homes and businesses with honest timing. Call 02 8999 3691, tell us your street and what is going wrong, and we will book a visit that suits your week.
Revesby homeowners, duplex builders and industrial tenants tend to raise these questions first. If yours is not covered here, call us on 02 8999 3691.
Most days, yes. Our weekday runs from 7am through to 5:30pm, Saturdays from 7am until 2pm, and Sundays we rest. Revesby sits on routes we drive all week, so ringing 02 8999 3691 in the morning gives the best shot at a visit before close. Flag burning smells, hot outlets or a main switch that will not stay up, as those jump the queue.
We need to see it first. A new outlet in a slab-on-ground duplex takes far less time than one in a fibro cottage with a low roof void, so phone guesses are unreliable. Following the visit, you receive a written fixed price covering labour and materials, and it does not change unless you request more.
Older fibro sheeting can contain asbestos, so it should never be cut or drilled carelessly. Revesby has many post-war fibro bungalows, and we plan cable routes through roof space, under floors and inside existing cavities to leave the sheeting alone. If a wall genuinely has to be opened, we tell you first so a sample can be tested.
Ideally before the frame goes up. Semi-detached homes and townhouses made up 29.7 per cent of Revesby dwellings in 2021, so we wire plenty of these. Early involvement lets us plan separate meter positions, two switchboards and cable runs with your builder, which costs far less than rework once walls are lined.
Yes. The Revesby industrial precinct around these streets includes newer warehouse units, and incoming tenants often need three-phase outlets, machine isolators, office power and LED high-bay lighting. We tailor commercial electrical work to your equipment list, keep clear of forklift paths and hand over test results. Street network connections are handled by others; everything inside your unit we can do.
About 35.9 per cent of Revesby homes were rented at the last Census. A landlord must keep a working alarm on every level, fix a reported fault inside two business days and swap out any unit that has reached ten years from its manufacture date. Hard-wired alarms are licensed-electrician work, and we can supply new interconnected smoke alarms with dated paperwork for the agent.
It can be a warning sign. Many Revesby homes have had ducted or split systems added to older boards and circuits over the years. Flicker on start-up can point to a loose connection, an undersized circuit or a failing neutral. We measure voltage drop and check terminations, then fix the fault or give the unit its own protected circuit.
Usually. Households here averaged 1.8 vehicles at the 2021 Census, and most houses and duplexes have a driveway or garage. We work out how much headroom the board has, lay a dedicated circuit and mount the charger where the lead reaches easily. In a duplex, we confirm which side’s board will feed it and keep the circuit within that dwelling.
Yes. The Marco Avenue shopping village, Revesby Abbey and the retail strip along Selems Parade are all part of our regular patch. Cafes and shops call us for lighting, extra outlets and equipment circuits, and we plan disruptive work before opening or after close so customers are never left in the dark.

We are regularly in Padstow, Panania, Condell Park, Picnic Point, Milperra, East Hills and Bankstown as well.
